All creative and operational direction activities will be executed within the Brazil Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area, including but not limited to the neighborhoods of Copacabana, Leblon, Niterói, and the surrounding coastal regions of the state of Rio de Janeiro.

The Film Director will be responsible for the complete artistic and technical leadership of the project, encompassing pre-production planning, on-set direction, performance coaching, shot composition, pacing, narrative structure, and post-production supervision. Given the unique cultural and geographic context of Brazil Rio de Janeiro, the director will incorporate local visual storytelling traditions, coordinate with municipal licensing authorities for public-location filming, and ensure compliance with all applicable Brazilian audiovisual regulations (Lei do Audiovisual – Lei nº 8.685/1993).

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiration date, all pricing is subject to revision based on market conditions in Brazil Rio de Janeiro.
• The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions, subject to final approval by the client's executive producer. Creative disputes will be resolved through a mutually agreed arbitration panel in Rio de Janeiro, RJ.
• All services are governed by Brazilian labor law (CLT) and the specific provisions of the audiovisual sector. The Film Director and Assistant Director will be registered under the appropriate professional categories with the local union (SATED – Sindicato dos Artistas e Técnicos em Espetáculos de Diversões).
• Shooting in public spaces within Brazil Rio de Janeiro requires permits from the Municipal Government (Prefeitura do Rio) and, where applicable, from the state environmental agency (INEA). Permit fees are the client's responsibility and are not included in this Quotation Estimate.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather, civil unrest, or government-mandated shutdowns in the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area, will result in a proportional extension of the production timeline without additional cost to either party.
• Confidentiality: All materials, scripts, footage, and production documents related to this project are subject to a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to be executed concurrently with the service contract.
• Intellectual property: Upon full payment, all final deliverables (edited film, raw footage, behind-the-scenes material) shall be the exclusive property of the client. The Film Director retains the right to display the work in professional portfolios and festival submissions, subject to the client's written consent for public screening.
• Any change in scope (additional shooting days, extended post-production, new locations outside the Rio de Janeiro metro area) will be documented in a formal Change Order and priced separately before execution.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that this Quotation Estimate accurately reflects the agreed-upon terms for the engagement of the Film Director and associated crew for the production to be carried out in Brazil Rio de Janeiro. This document, once countersigned, constitutes a binding commercial proposal and will be incorporated into the definitive service contract.
