This Quotation Estimate outlines the professional services to be rendered by our senior Film Director for a feature-length production (approximately 90 minutes) to be shot primarily in Canada Toronto and surrounding areas. The Film Director will be responsible for the complete creative and operational leadership of the production from pre-production through principal photography and into the initial post-production phase. All services are subject to the terms and conditions stated herein and comply with the regulations set forth by the Ontario Film Commission and the Canada Media Fund.
- Pre-Production (Weeks 1–3): The Film Director will conduct a full script analysis, develop a detailed shot list and storyboard, collaborate with the production designer, cinematographer, and casting director, and hold table reads with the principal cast. All pre-production meetings will be held at our Toronto office or the client's designated location within Canada Toronto.
- Principal Photography (Weeks 4–11): The Film Director will lead all on-set operations, direct the cast and crew, manage daily shooting schedules, ensure creative continuity across all scenes, and make real-time artistic decisions. The Film Director is expected to be on set for a minimum of 10 shooting days per week, with a standard 12-hour working day as per the Ontario Film Industry Employment Standards.
- Post-Production Supervision (Weeks 12–13): The Film Director will attend editorial sessions, provide notes on the rough cut and fine cut, oversee the sound design and colour grading sessions, and ensure the final deliverable aligns with the original creative vision established during pre-production.
- Additional Deliverables: The Film Director will provide a written creative statement, a director's commentary track (optional, at additional cost), and attend up to two (2) industry screening events in Canada Toronto at the client's request.

This Quotation Estimate assumes the following payment milestones, all payable within 15 business days of invoice issuance:
- 25% Deposit: Due upon signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate – $62,542.68 CAD
- 35% Mid-Production Payment: Due upon completion of Week 6 of principal photography – $87,559.75 CAD
- 30% Final Payment: Due upon delivery of the final cut and completion of post-production supervision – $75,059.67 CAD
- 10% Retainer: Released 30 days after final delivery, subject to client satisfaction – $25,017.07 CAD
1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Film Director are subject to reconfirmation.
2. All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) at 13%. Any additional taxes or levies imposed by the Canada Toronto municipal authority or the Province of Ontario shall be the responsibility of the client.
3. The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions during production. However, the Film Director agrees to consult with the client on any matter that may materially alter the budget or schedule outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
4. Cancellation by the client after the deposit has been paid will result in the forfeiture of the 25% deposit. Cancellation by Visionary Films Productions Ltd. prior to the start of pre-production will result in a full refund of all monies received.
5. The Film Director and all associated crew members shall comply with all applicable Canadian federal and Ontario provincial labour laws, including the Employment Standards Act, 2000, and the Ontario Film Industry Employment Standards.
6. All intellectual property created by the Film Director during the engagement, including but not limited to shot compositions, performance direction notes, and creative documentation, shall become the property of the client upon full payment of this Quotation Estimate.
7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal Production Services Agreement. This document serves solely as a good-faith estimate of costs and scope.
8. Any changes to the scope of work, shooting schedule, or location within Canada Toronto that result in additional costs must be approved in writing by both parties before work commences on the revised scope.
