This Quotation Estimate outlines the comprehensive professional services to be rendered by the undersigned Film Director for the production of the feature documentary "Raíces del Sur." All services will be executed in and around Mexico, Mexico City, in accordance with the creative brief approved by Grupo Visual Norte. The Film Director will serve as the principal creative authority on set, responsible for translating the narrative vision into a cohesive cinematic product.
The engagement includes, but is not limited to, the following deliverables and responsibilities:
- Pre-Production (Weeks 1–3): Script development and refinement, location scouting across Mexico City neighborhoods (including Coyoacán, Xochimilco, and the historic center), casting coordination, shot-list design, storyboard creation, and technical planning with the cinematography and sound departments.
- Principal Photography (Weeks 4–9): On-set direction of all principal and secondary units, daily creative supervision, actor and interviewee direction, real-time editorial decisions, and coordination with the production manager to ensure schedule adherence within Mexico City and its metropolitan area.
- Post-Production (Weeks 10–12): Supervision of the rough cut and fine cut, color grading direction, sound design oversight, final mix approval, and delivery of the master file in formats specified by the distributor.
- Additional Deliverables: Two (2) promotional teaser edits (30 seconds each), a director's commentary track, and a written production log documenting all creative decisions made during the Mexico City shoot.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three installments via bank transfer to the account of CineAzteca Productions, registered in Mexico City, Mexico:
- 40% (MXN 1,252,336): Due upon execution of this agreement and prior to the commencement of pre-production.
- 35% (MXN 1,095,794): Due upon completion of principal photography (end of Week 9).
- 25% (MXN 782,710): Due upon final delivery of all post-production deliverables and acceptance by the client.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market conditions in the Mexico City production sector.
- All services will be performed by the named Film Director, Alejandro Ramírez Soto, or by a credentialed deputy of equivalent experience approved in writing by the client. No further subcontracting of creative direction is permitted without prior consent.
- The Film Director retains full moral rights (derechos morales) over the creative work as established under Mexican intellectual property law (Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor). The client acquires full commercial exploitation rights upon final payment.
- Any changes to the scope of work, shooting schedule, or deliverables must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Additional days beyond the 40 shooting days will be billed at MXN 32,000 per day.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting Mexico City, government-mandated shutdowns, or public health emergencies, will pause the production timeline without penalty to either party.
- This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, with jurisdiction in the courts of Mexico City, Mexico.
