This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Himalayan Vision Productions Pvt. Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of costs associated with the engagement of a professional Film Director for a full production cycle to be executed in Nepal Kathmandu. This document serves as the official financial proposal and outlines all deliverables, timelines, and associated expenses for the client's review and approval. The Film Director services described herein encompass pre-production planning, on-set direction, post-production oversight, and final delivery of the completed film or video project within the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding areas of Nepal.
The Film Director engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following deliverables, all to be carried out primarily in Nepal Kathmandu and its immediate vicinity:
- Pre-Production (Weeks 1–3): Script development and finalization, location scouting across Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur, casting coordination, storyboard creation, shot list preparation, and production scheduling. The Film Director will conduct at least three on-site location reconnaissance visits within the Nepal Kathmandu metropolitan area.
- Production / Principal Photography (Weeks 4–7): Full on-set direction for a minimum of twenty (20) shooting days. The Film Director will manage all creative decisions including camera angles, actor performances, lighting design coordination, and scene composition. All principal photography will be conducted in Nepal Kathmandu unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Post-Production (Weeks 8–12): The Film Director will oversee editing, color grading, sound design, and final mix. At least four (4) review screenings will be conducted with the client at our Kathmandu studio. Final deliverables will include a master file in 4K resolution, a broadcast-ready version, and a social media cutdown package.
- Final Delivery and Wrap (Week 13): Handover of all final assets, raw footage archive, and a comprehensive production report. The Film Director will attend one (1) premiere or presentation event in Nepal Kathmandu at the client's request.

* All rates are quoted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). USD conversion is approximate at a rate of 1 USD = 136.72 NPR and is for reference only. Final settlement shall be in NPR.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Payment shall be made in three installments: 40% upon signing the production agreement, 40% upon completion of principal photography, and 20% upon final delivery of all assets. All payments are to be made via bank transfer to our account at Nabil Bank, Kathmandu Branch.
- The Film Director retains full creative authority during production. However, the client shall have the right to request up to two (2) rounds of revisions during post-production at no additional cost. Further revisions will be billed at NPR 50,000 per additional round.
- All filming locations within Nepal Kathmandu must be secured and permitted by the client or our production team prior to the scheduled shoot date. Any delays caused by permitting issues in Nepal Kathmandu will result in a pro-rata extension of the production timeline.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of cast, crew beyond the Assistant Director, camera equipment rental, or special effects. These items may be quoted separately upon request.
- Intellectual property of the final film shall transfer to the client upon full and final payment. The Film Director retains the right to use stills and short excerpts for portfolio and promotional purposes.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies affecting Nepal Kathmandu, shall exempt both parties from liability and allow for timeline adjustments.
- Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent production agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Nepal.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Film Director services to be performed in Nepal Kathmandu, and agrees to all terms and conditions outlined herein. This acceptance constitutes a binding production agreement between both parties.
