1. Purpose of This Quotation Estimate
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Nile Cinematic Productions Ltd. to formally outline the scope, deliverables, and associated costs for engaging a professional Film Director for the production of a feature-length documentary to be filmed primarily in and around Sudan Khartoum. This document serves as a binding financial proposal and shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. All figures presented herein are estimates based on current market rates in the Sudanese film and media industry and are subject to revision should the scope of work be materially altered after mutual agreement.
2. Scope of Services — Film Director Engagement
The Film Director engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be responsible for the complete creative vision and on-set execution of the project. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Pre-production planning, script development, and storyboarding conducted in Sudan Khartoum.
- Casting coordination and talent direction for local Sudanese actors, narrators, and documentary subjects.

4. Payment Terms
Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: a non-refundable deposit of 30% ($11,841.00) due upon signed acceptance; 40% ($15,788.00) due upon completion of principal photography; and the remaining 30% ($11,841.00) due upon delivery of the final cut. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Nile Cinematic Productions Ltd., Bank of Khartoum, Sudan Khartoum branch. Late payments shall incur a monthly interest charge of 2.5%.
5. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is non-binding until countersigned by both parties. Upon signature, it becomes a binding service agreement governed by the laws of the Republic of the Sudan.
- The Film Director retains full creative authority over artistic decisions; however, the client reserves the right to request one (1) revision pass on the final edit.
- All filming locations within Sudan Khartoum must be cleared through the relevant state authorities. The Film Director shall coordinate all permit applications, and associated costs are included in Line Item 5.
- Intellectual property rights to the finished film shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Film Director retains the right to use the work in personal portfolios and festival submissions.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to civil unrest, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions in Sudan Khartoum, shall suspend obligations without penalty to either party.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for camera equipment rental, crew salaries (beyond the Film Director), or international travel for the client's representatives.
- Any changes to the scope of work must be documented in a written addendum signed by both parties before additional costs are incurred.
6. Acceptance
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Film Director services in Sudan Khartoum and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This acceptance constitutes a formal engagement of the Film Director for the duration and scope described above.
