This Quotation Estimate is issued by Beijing GeoConsulting & Earth Sciences Ltd. to formally propose the professional services of a qualified Geologist for the geological survey, site assessment, and environmental risk evaluation project to be conducted within the administrative boundaries of China Beijing. The Geologist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences from an accredited institution, possess at least eight (8) years of field experience in tectonic mapping, hydrogeological investigation, and soil-structure interaction analysis, and be registered with the China Geological Society (CGS) under license number CGS-2019-04472.
The primary objective of this engagement is to deliver a comprehensive geological feasibility report for the proposed underground utility corridor project spanning approximately 12.4 kilometres through the Mentougou and Huairou districts of Beijing. The Geologist will be responsible for conducting in-situ borehole logging, rock core sampling, seismic refraction surveys, and groundwater level monitoring in strict accordance with the national standards GB 50021-2001 (Code for Investigation of Geotechnical Engineering) and the local regulations issued by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources.

The Geologist shall commence fieldwork in China Beijing no later than 1 September 2025, subject to the client's written confirmation of this Quotation Estimate. The total project duration is estimated at four (4) calendar months, with the final geological feasibility report to be delivered to the client no later than 31 December 2025. All interim progress reports will be submitted bi-weekly in both Chinese and English to the Beijing Operations Division.
- Advance Payment (30%): CNY 280,635 payable within ten (10) business days of signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
- Progress Payment (40%): CNY 374,180 payable upon completion of all fieldwork and submission of the interim data package.
- Final Payment (30%): CNY 280,635 payable within fifteen (15) business days of acceptance of the final Geologist's technical report.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period requires written reconfirmation of pricing.
- The Geologist assigned to this project in China Beijing shall comply with all applicable PRC laws, including the Law of the People's Republic of China on Geological Survey and Exploration (2002 revision) and the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Regulations.
- All geological data, core samples, and reports generated under this engagement shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the client upon full payment.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather, government-mandated site closures, or public health emergencies in Beijing, shall extend the project timeline on a day-for-day basis without additional cost to the client.
- Any variation in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the total Quotation Estimate value must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before additional work commences.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration at the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) in accordance with its then-current rules.
