This Quotation Estimate is issued by GeoSolutions Africa (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request for geological consulting services submitted by Platinum Ridge Mining (Pty) Ltd. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Geologist to conduct a full geological assessment, environmental impact evaluation, and resource estimation for the proposed platinum group metals (PGM) exploration site located in the West Rand area of South Africa Johannesburg.
All rates and figures contained within this Quotation Estimate are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 15%, unless otherwise stated. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue, after which all rates may be subject to revision in line with prevailing market conditions in South Africa Johannesburg.
The following scope of work has been developed in consultation with the client's project management team. The appointed Geologist shall be a registered Professional Geologist (Pr. Geo) in good standing with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) and shall possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of practical experience in PGM exploration within the Bushveld Complex and surrounding geological formations of South Africa Johannesburg.
The Geologist will be responsible for the following deliverables:
- Desktop geological study and review of existing borehole, geophysical, and geochemical data for the 12-hectare target area.
- Field geological mapping at a scale of 1:5,000, including structural analysis, lithological logging, and sample collection (minimum 200 channel samples).
- Geotechnical assessment and rock mass classification (RMR and Q-system) for open-pit and underground mining feasibility.
- Compilation of a geological cross-section and 3D block model of the PGM-bearing horizons.
- Preparation of a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) geological chapter in compliance with NEMA (National Environmental Management Act, 107 of 1998).
- Submission of a final technical report to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) as required for the Mining Right application.

The total estimated duration for the completion of all deliverables outlined in this Quotation Estimate is twenty-two (22) weeks from the date of contract signature. The Geologist will submit a detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule within five (5) business days of commencing work. All fieldwork is scheduled to take place between July and October 2025 to align with optimal weather conditions in the South Africa Johannesburg region.
- This Quotation Estimate is a firm offer valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Acceptance must be communicated in writing to GeoSolutions Africa (Pty) Ltd within this period.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon signing of the service agreement; 40% upon completion of fieldwork; 30% upon delivery and acceptance of the final technical report by the client.
- All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as per the National Credit Act.
- The Geologist and all supporting personnel shall comply with all applicable South African health, safety, and environmental legislation, including the Mine Health and Safety Act (29 of 1996) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993).
- All data, reports, and deliverables produced under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment. GeoSolutions Africa (Pty) Ltd retains the right to reference the project in future marketing materials, subject to the client's written consent.
- Liability: GeoSolutions Africa (Pty) Ltd's total liability under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total contract value. The Geologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5,000,000 for the duration of the project.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa Johannesburg, and the laws of the Republic of South Africa shall govern all matters.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement has been executed by both parties.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Geologist and associated geological services in South Africa Johannesburg.
