This Quotation Estimate is issued by Emirates GeoConsult Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and itemized financial proposal for the engagement of a qualified Geologist and associated geological field and laboratory services. The scope of work described herein pertains to geological site investigation, subsurface characterization, and environmental geology assessments to be conducted within the jurisdiction of United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi, specifically targeting the Al Dhafra District development corridor. This document serves as a formal estimate of all costs, timelines, and deliverables associated with the proposed geological consultancy engagement.
The following services shall be delivered by our team of licensed and certified Geologist professionals operating under the regulatory framework of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and the Abu Dhabi Municipality:
- Geological Site Investigation: Conducting a minimum of 12 borehole drillings (depth ranging from 15 m to 45 m) across the designated 240-hectare plot in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to characterize subsurface stratigraphy, lithology, and groundwater conditions.
- Geotechnical Sampling & Laboratory Analysis: Collection of undisturbed and disturbed soil and rock samples for physical, chemical, and mineralogical testing at our accredited laboratory facility in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.
- Geophysical Survey: Execution of seismic refraction and electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) surveys over a 5 km × 3 km grid to map subsurface geological structures and identify potential fault zones or karst features.
- Environmental Geology Assessment: Evaluation of natural hazard susceptibility including seismic microzonation, liquefaction potential, and slope stability analysis in accordance with UAE Building Code and Abu Dhabi Municipality guidelines.
- Hydrogeological Study: Assessment of aquifer characteristics, groundwater flow direction, and water quality sampling (minimum 8 monitoring wells) to support sustainable water resource planning for the development zone.
- Final Geological Report: Preparation of a comprehensive 200-page technical report in English and Arabic, including geological maps at 1:5,000 scale, cross-sections, borehole logs, laboratory test results, and engineering recommendations.
- Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: Coordination with Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD), and relevant federal authorities to secure all necessary fieldwork permits and environmental impact clearances.

The total estimated duration for completion of all Geologist field and laboratory services is 14 weeks from the date of contract execution. Mobilization and permitting shall be completed within the first two weeks. Field drilling and geophysical surveys are scheduled for weeks 3 through 9. Laboratory analysis and data interpretation will span weeks 8 through 12. The final Quotation Estimate deliverable, including the comprehensive geological report, shall be submitted to the client no later than week 14.
5.1 Payment Schedule: 30% advance payment upon contract signing; 40% upon completion of all fieldwork; 30% upon submission and acceptance of the final geological report. All payments shall be made in UAE Dirhams (AED) via bank transfer to Emirates GeoConsult Ltd., First Abu Dhabi Bank, Account No. 001-452-7890-001.
5.2 Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi region.
5.3 Exclusions: This estimate does not include costs for remedial engineering works, third-party environmental impact assessment (EIA) beyond the scope stated, or any additional boreholes beyond the 12 specified. Any variation in scope shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by our office.
5.4 Insurance & Liability: Emirates GeoConsult Ltd. shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than AED 5,000,000 and comprehensive public liability insurance for all personnel and equipment operating in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
5.5 Governing Law: This agreement and all associated services shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the specific regulations of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Abu Dhabi in accordance with the UAE Arbitration Law.
5.6 Confidentiality: All geological data, borehole logs, and subsurface information generated under this engagement shall be treated as confidential property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of Geologist services in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi. This document constitutes a binding proposal upon countersignature by both parties.
