1. Scope of Work — Industrial Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Process Solutions Ltd to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Industrial Engineer to deliver process optimisation, operational efficiency, and production system redesign services within the United Kingdom London metropolitan area. The Industrial Engineer will operate under the direct supervision of the client's Operations Director and will be embedded within the client's London-based manufacturing facility for the duration of the contracted period.
- Process Mapping & Time Study Analysis: The Industrial Engineer shall conduct a full value-stream mapping exercise across all production lines at the client's London site, including detailed time-and-motion studies, cycle time measurements, and bottleneck identification for a minimum of twelve (12) distinct manufacturing processes.
- Production Line Redesign & Layout Optimisation: Development of revised facility layouts compliant with UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations, incorporating lean manufacturing principles, ergonomic assessments, and material flow improvements specific to the United Kingdom London industrial environment.
- Capacity Planning & Workforce Modelling: The Industrial Engineer will produce a detailed capacity utilisation report, workforce scheduling optimisation model, and throughput forecasting aligned with the client's twelve-month production targets for the London market.
- Quality Control Integration: Implementation of statistical process control (SPC) methodologies, Six Sigma DMAIC project execution, and defect reduction strategies in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards applicable in the United Kingdom.

All amounts are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT at the standard United Kingdom rate of 20% is applied in accordance with HM Revenue & Customs regulations. This Quotation Estimate is exclusive of any additional costs arising from scope changes requested by the client beyond the parameters defined herein.
3. Terms and Conditions
3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
3.2 Payment terms: 30% advance deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of the mid-project milestone (end of Week 13); 30% upon final delivery and acceptance of the Industrial Engineer's comprehensive report. All invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of issue in accordance with the United Kingdom Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3.3 The Industrial Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) registered with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), holding a minimum of ten (10) years' post-qualification experience in manufacturing process engineering within the United Kingdom.
3.4 All work shall be performed in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and all applicable United Kingdom London local authority regulations.
3.5 Intellectual property generated by the Industrial Engineer during the course of this engagement shall vest in the client upon full and final payment. Meridian Process Solutions Ltd retains the right to reference the project in anonymised case studies.
3.6 This Quotation Estimate is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom London.
3.7 The client agrees to provide the Industrial Engineer with reasonable access to all relevant production data, site areas, and personnel at the London facility during normal working hours (08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding United Kingdom public holidays).
4. Acceptance
By signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate for Industrial Engineer services in United Kingdom London and agrees to all terms and conditions set out herein. This Quotation Estimate shall constitute a binding agreement upon countersignature by both parties.
