1. Purpose of This Quotation EstimateThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Belgian Press & Media Services S.A. to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a professional Journalist based in Belgium Brussels. The Journalist will be available to deliver a full suite of editorial, investigative, and reporting services tailored to the specific needs of the client. 2. Scope of Journalist ServicesThe Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate will operate primarily within Belgium Brussels, with the flexibility to travel to other municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region and, where necessary, to Flanders or Wallonia. The scope of work encompasses the following deliverables:
- On-site news gathering, interviews, and field reporting within Belgium Brussels.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates for the Journalist services may be subject to revision based on current market conditions in Belgium Brussels.
- All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of applicable Belgian Value Added Tax (VAT) at the standard rate of 21%, unless otherwise stated.
- The Journalist shall comply with all applicable Belgian press laws, the Code of Ethics of the Belgian Press Council, and data protection regulations under the GDPR as enforced in Belgium Brussels.
- Payment terms: 50% of the total amount shall be due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, and the remaining 50% shall be invoiced upon completion of the agreed Journalist deliverables. Payment is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date.
- Any additional Journalist services beyond the scope defined in Section 2 of this Quotation Estimate will be billed at the hourly rates specified in the table above, subject to prior written approval by the client.
- The Journalist retains full editorial independence. The client shall not be entitled to dictate the content, tone, or conclusions of any journalistic work produced under this engagement.
- Intellectual property: All written and multimedia content produced by the Journalist shall remain the property of the Journalist unless a separate assignment agreement is executed. The client receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the content for the purpose specified in this Quotation Estimate.
- Cancellation: Should the client wish to cancel the engagement, a minimum of seven (7) days' written notice is required. Cancellation within seven days of the scheduled work date will incur a 50% fee on the remaining balance.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgium Brussels.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all information exchanged in connection with this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent Journalist engagement.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts all terms, conditions, and rates set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the Journalist services to be rendered in Belgium Brussels. This signature constitutes a binding agreement between the parties.
