This Quotation Estimate is issued by Nile Media & Communications Group to formally propose the professional services of a senior Journalist for the production of a twelve-episode documentary series titled "Voices of the Nile." The Journalist will be based in Egypt Cairo for the duration of the engagement and will be responsible for all editorial, investigative, and on-camera reporting duties associated with the project. The scope of work encompasses field reporting, in-depth interviews, script development, fact-checking, and coordination with local newsrooms across Egypt Cairo and its metropolitan area.

The Journalist proposed under this Quotation Estimate holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from Cairo University and possesses a minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience in broadcast journalism, investigative reporting, and documentary production. The Journalist is a registered member of the Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists (Press Council, Egypt Cairo) and holds a valid press card issued by the Egyptian Press Council. Previous credits include award-winning investigative series for major Egyptian and international broadcasters, as well as extensive coverage of cultural, political, and social topics across Egypt Cairo and the broader Nile Delta region.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period requires re-confirmation of rates and availability of the Journalist.
- Payment terms: 40% advance upon signing the service agreement, 35% upon completion of Episode 6, and 25% upon final delivery and client acceptance of all twelve episodes.
- All payments shall be made in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the account of Nile Media & Communications Group, Egypt Cairo. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month.
- The Journalist shall comply with all applicable Egyptian media laws, the Press Law No. 92 of 1996 (as amended), and the regulations of the Egyptian Press Council. The Journalist shall not publish or distribute any material related to the project without prior written consent from the client.
- Intellectual property: All scripts, recordings, and editorial materials produced by the Journalist under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment. The Journalist retains the right to be credited as the lead reporter and writer.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-imposed restrictions in Egypt Cairo, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting service agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the rules of the Egyptian Arbitration Center in Egypt Cairo.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. All terms herein are subject to the final contract.
- The Journalist reserves the right to refuse assignments that violate professional ethics, Egyptian law, or the code of conduct of the Egyptian Syndicate of Journalists.
- Any changes to the scope of work, timeline, or deliverables must be documented in a written amendment signed by both parties. Additional costs will be quoted separately as a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Journalist in Egypt Cairo.
