This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Amsterdam Media & Communications B.V. to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional Journalist services to be delivered within the Netherlands Amsterdam metropolitan area. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of work, associated costs, timelines, and contractual terms governing the engagement of a qualified Journalist for editorial, investigative, and content production assignments. All pricing reflected in this Quotation Estimate is provided in Euros (EUR) and is subject to the applicable Dutch Value Added Tax (VAT/BTW) at the standard rate of 21%, unless otherwise stated.
The following services are encompassed within this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a professional Journalist operating in the Netherlands Amsterdam region:
- Editorial Content Production: The Journalist will produce a minimum of twelve (12) long-form articles per month, each ranging between 1,500 and 3,000 words, covering topics relevant to the client's industry sector. All content will be researched, written, edited, and delivered in both Dutch and English as required.
- Investigative Reporting: The Journalist will conduct in-depth investigative pieces, including on-site reporting at locations throughout Netherlands Amsterdam, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and verification of sources in accordance with Dutch press ethics and the Dutch Press Council (Nederlandse Persvereniging) guidelines.
- Event Coverage: The Journalist will attend and provide real-time written and multimedia coverage of up to four (4) corporate or public events per month held in the Netherlands Amsterdam area, including the Amsterdam RAI, the NEMO Science Museum, and other designated venues.
- Digital and Social Media Content: The Journalist will adapt all produced content for digital platforms, including the client's website, social media channels, and newsletter distribution, ensuring compliance with Dutch data protection regulations (AVG/GDPR).
- Consultation and Strategy: The Journalist will participate in bi-weekly editorial strategy meetings (in person at the Amsterdam office or via video conference) to align content direction with the client's communication objectives.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability of the Journalist are subject to re-evaluation.
- Payment shall be made in monthly installments of EUR 12,604.17 (inclusive of VAT), due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date, via bank transfer to the account of Amsterdam Media & Communications B.V. at ING Bank, IBAN: NL91 INGB 0000 0000 00, BIC: INGBNL2A.
- A deposit of 25% of the total Quotation Estimate value (EUR 18,906.25) is required upon acceptance of this document to secure the Journalist's availability and commence the engagement.
- Any additional services or scope changes beyond those described in this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written amendment and additional cost assessment.
- Late payments shall incur interest at the statutory Dutch rate as defined under Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek).
The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate is a fully accredited professional registered with the Dutch Press Council (Nederlandse Persvereniging) and holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). The Journalist has a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in editorial and investigative reporting within the Netherlands Amsterdam media landscape, with published work in major Dutch and international outlets. All work produced will adhere to the Code of Conduct of the Dutch Press Council and comply with all applicable Dutch media and data protection legislation.
All materials, drafts, research notes, and final deliverables produced by the Journalist under this Quotation Estimate shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the client upon full payment. The Journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, unpublished content, and internal communications encountered during the engagement in Netherlands Amsterdam. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be executed prior to the commencement of work if the client so requests.
By signing below, the client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in its entirety and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Journalist in the Netherlands Amsterdam region.
