This Quotation Estimate has been prepared to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of costs associated with the engagement of a professional Journalist for media coverage, editorial content production, and communications support within the Nigeria Lagos metropolitan area and its surrounding regions. The scope of work outlined herein is designed to meet the specific operational, editorial, and public relations requirements of the client as discussed during preliminary consultations held in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Journalist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall possess a minimum of eight (8) years of verified experience in print, broadcast, and digital media, with a demonstrated track record of producing high-quality content for national and international audiences. The professional shall be fully registered with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and hold a valid Press Card issued by the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, Nigeria. All work shall be conducted in strict compliance with the Nigerian Press and Ownership Act, the Code of Conduct for the Nigerian Press, and all applicable regulations governing media operations in Nigeria Lagos.

3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and terms must be reconfirmed in writing before any engagement of the Journalist can proceed.

3.2 Payment Terms: A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the Grand Total shall be remitted to the service provider's designated bank account within five (5) business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. The remaining fifty percent (50%) shall be due within seven (7) business days of final delivery and written acceptance of all content by the client.

3.3 Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of work, additional days of Journalist engagement, or expansion of coverage beyond the Nigeria Lagos metropolitan area (including but not limited to Ibadan, Abeokuta, or Port Harcourt) shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and mutual written agreement prior to execution.

3.4 Intellectual Property: Upon full and final payment, all editorial content, photographs, and multimedia assets produced by the Journalist under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client. The Journalist retains the right to include a byline and to reference the work in a professional portfolio, subject to the client's prior written consent for any commercial republication.

3.5 Confidentiality: The Journalist shall adhere to a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA) covering all proprietary information, unreleased data, and internal communications encountered during the course of work in Nigeria Lagos. Breach of confidentiality shall render the Journalist liable for damages as stipulated in the NDA.

3.6 Cancellation Policy: Cancellation by the client after the deposit has been paid shall result in forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellation by the service provider for reasons other than force majeure shall require a full refund of all monies received, including the deposit, within ten (10) business days.

3.7 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement of the Journalist shall be resolved through mediation in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Should mediation fail, the matter shall be referred to the competent courts of law in Nigeria Lagos.

3.8 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-imposed restrictions on media operations in Nigeria Lagos, natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest.

By signing below, the client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in its entirety, that all terms and conditions are understood and accepted, and that the engagement of the Journalist for services in Nigeria Lagos is hereby authorized subject to the conditions stated herein.
