This Quotation Estimate is issued by Colombo Legal & Judicial Advisory Services (Pvt) Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and itemized breakdown of all professional fees, expenses, and associated costs for the engagement of a Judge (Honorary / Retired Judicial Officer) to preside over, mediate, or adjudicate the referenced commercial dispute matter. This document serves as a formal cost projection for the client's review and approval prior to the commencement of judicial proceedings in Sri Lanka Colombo. All figures presented herein are estimates based on current prevailing rates as of the date of issue and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Section 5 of this Quotation Estimate.
The Judge services covered under this Quotation Estimate include, but are not limited to, the following professional engagements to be conducted within the jurisdiction of Colombo, Sri Lanka:
- Appointment and engagement of a retired District Judge or High Court Judge (Honorary) to serve as the presiding adjudicator for the commercial dispute.
- Conduct of preliminary hearings, evidentiary sessions, and final adjudication proceedings at the designated venue in Colombo.
- Preparation and delivery of a written judicial award or reasoned judgment in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- Mediation and conciliation sessions to facilitate an amicable resolution prior to full adjudication, conducted in Colombo.
- Review of all submitted documentary evidence, expert reports, and legal briefs filed by both parties.
- Post-judgment consultations and clarification sessions (up to two (2) sessions) for the client.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in the following instalments:
- 50% Advance Payment (LKR 1,799,500) – Due upon client's written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to the Judge's engagement.
- 30% Interim Payment (LKR 1,079,700) – Due upon completion of all evidentiary hearings and mediation sessions in Colombo.
- 20% Final Payment (LKR 719,800) – Due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the delivery of the final written judicial award by the Judge.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Colombo Legal & Judicial Advisory Services (Pvt) Ltd., Commercial Bank, Colombo Main Branch, Sri Lanka. A receipt shall be issued for each payment received.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and fees are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- The engagement of the Judge is subject to the availability and written confirmation of the appointed judicial officer. In the event of unavailability, an equivalent-qualified Judge shall be substituted at no additional cost to the client.
- All proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including the Civil Procedure Code, the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995, and applicable regulations of the Colombo District Court.
- The Judge shall maintain strict impartiality and confidentiality. All documents, evidence, and proceedings shall be treated as privileged and confidential in accordance with Sri Lankan law.
- Any additional days of adjudication, extended mediation sessions, or supplementary evidence reviews beyond the scope outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be billed at the unit rates specified in Section 3, subject to prior written approval by the client.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by the client and countersigned by both parties.
- All disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
- The client acknowledges that the fees quoted are estimates and that the final cost may vary by up to 10% (as reflected in the contingency allowance) depending on the complexity and duration of the Judge's proceedings.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of the terms, conditions, and estimated costs for the Judge services to be rendered in Sri Lanka Colombo. This acceptance authorizes Colombo Legal & Judicial Advisory Services (Pvt) Ltd. to proceed with the engagement of the appointed Judge and the scheduling of all related proceedings.
