1. Scope of Legal Services

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Al-Rafik & Associates, a duly registered law firm operating in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to provide a detailed cost breakdown for the engagement of a Lawyer and legal team to represent the interests of the above-named client. The scope of services encompasses the following areas of legal practice as applicable under the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh:

Full legal representation before the Dhaka District Court, the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court, and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in connection with a commercial contract dispute involving a supply agreement worth BDT 4.2 Crore.
Drafting, review, and negotiation of all legal pleadings, written statements, affidavits, and supporting documentation required for the litigation process.
Provision of ongoing legal advisory services to the client's management team regarding contractual obligations, regulatory compliance under the Bangladesh Companies Act 1994, and the Bangladesh Contract Act 1872.
Conduct of due diligence on opposing party's assets and financial standing for the purpose of securing interim injunctions and attachment orders.
Representation in mediation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings before the Bangladesh Arbitration Council, Dhaka, should the parties elect to pursue settlement negotiations.
Post-judgment enforcement of any decree or order passed by the competent court in Dhaka, including execution proceedings and coordination with the Enforcement Wing of the Dhaka District Court.

Note: The above Quotation Estimate is prepared on the basis of the current scope of work. Should the matter be escalated to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh or require additional court appearances beyond the estimated hours, a supplementary Quotation Estimate shall be issued with prior written consent of the client. All fees are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at 15% as mandated by the National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh. 3. Payment Terms

The total professional fee of BDT 1,695,000 (One Million Six Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Taka only) shall be payable as follows:

Advance Payment (40%): BDT 678,000 – payable within seven (7) working days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, via bank transfer to the firm's designated account at Sonali Bank, Banani Branch, Dhaka.
Second Installment (35%): BDT 593,250 – payable upon filing of the written statement and commencement of the trial phase before the Dhaka District Court.
Final Installment (25%): BDT 423,750 – payable upon conclusion of the matter, including enforcement or settlement, whichever occurs first.

4. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the fee structure may be revised to reflect changes in court fees, government levies, or market conditions in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
The Lawyer and legal team engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information, case strategy, and proprietary business data in accordance with the Bangladesh Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1962, and the professional ethics code of the Dhaka Bar Association.
The client agrees to provide all necessary documents, evidence, and factual information in a timely manner. Delays caused by the client in furnishing required materials shall not be attributed to the legal team, and additional fees may apply for extended engagement.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of any particular outcome in the litigation or arbitration proceedings. The Lawyer shall exercise the highest degree of professional diligence and skill in representing the client's interests before all courts and tribunals in Bangladesh.
Any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved by arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2001 of Bangladesh. The seat of arbitration shall be Dhaka, and the language of proceedings shall be English.
The firm reserves the right to withdraw from the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice, in which case all fees for services rendered up to the date of withdrawal shall be due and payable.
All work product, including drafts, memoranda, and legal opinions prepared by the Lawyer, shall remain the intellectual property of Al-Rafik & Associates until full payment is received.

5. Acceptance

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and fee structure outlined herein. The engagement of the Lawyer and legal team shall commence upon receipt of the advance payment.
