This Quotation Estimate is issued by Almeida & Souza Advocacia, a duly registered law firm operating in Brasília, the Federal District of Brazil, to provide the prospective client with a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of the professional fees, expenses, and associated costs for the legal services to be rendered by our Lawyer. This document serves as a formal estimate and does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have reviewed, agreed upon, and executed the definitive engagement letter. All fees quoted herein are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Section 6 of this Quotation Estimate.
The Lawyer at Almeida & Souza Advocacia proposes to provide the following legal services to the client, all conducted in accordance with the Brazilian Federal Constitution, the Brazilian Civil Procedure Code (Código de Processo Civil — Law No. 13,105/2015), the Brazilian Code of Ethics and Discipline of the OAB (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil), and all applicable federal and district legislation in force in Brasília, DF:
- Comprehensive legal consultation and advisory regarding the client's matter before the Federal Courts of Brasília and the Superior Courts of the Republic.
- Drafting, review, and filing of all necessary legal petitions, motions, and procedural documents in Portuguese, as required by the Brazilian judicial system.
- Representation of the client in all hearings, sessions, and proceedings before the Judiciary of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT) and the Federal Judiciary of the District (JFDF).
- Preparation of legal opinions, memoranda, and strategic litigation plans tailored to the specific circumstances of the case.
- Negotiation and settlement discussions with opposing counsel, where applicable and in the best interest of the client.
- Post-judgment enforcement actions, including execution proceedings and appeals before the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) and the Federal Supreme Court (STF) in Brasília.

The total estimated fee of R$ 31,850.00 shall be payable as follows: an initial retainer of 30% (R$ 9,555.00) due upon execution of the engagement letter; 40% (R$ 12,740.00) due upon filing of the initial petition with the competent court in Brasília; and the remaining 30% (R$ 9,555.00) due upon conclusion of the proceedings or upon the final judgment, whichever occurs first. All payments shall be made via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the firm's designated account in Brasília, DF. Late payments shall accrue a monthly interest rate of 1% (one percent) in addition to a 2% penalty, in accordance with Brazilian civil law.
This Quotation Estimate assumes that the legal matter will proceed through the standard procedural stages before the courts of Brasília, DF. It does not include costs related to expert witnesses, forensic examinations, or third-party services that may be required during the proceedings. Should the case be elevated to the STJ or STF, additional fees will be quoted separately. This estimate does not cover legal services outside the jurisdiction of the Federal District unless expressly agreed in writing.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all fees are subject to revision.
- The Lawyer reserves the right to withdraw from the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice, in which case fees for services already rendered shall be due and payable.
- The client may terminate the engagement at any time by providing fifteen (15) days' written notice. In such case, the client shall be liable for all fees corresponding to work completed up to the date of termination.
- All communications between the Lawyer and the client shall be governed by the attorney-client privilege as established under the Brazilian Constitution (Article 5, item XXXIII) and the OAB Code of Ethics.
- This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and any disputes arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brasília, DF.
- The firm's professional liability is limited to the total fees paid by the client, in accordance with prevailing Brazilian legal standards.
- Any amendments to this Quotation Estimate must be made in writing and signed by both parties to be considered valid.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate, confirms that the scope of services and fee schedule have been reviewed and understood, and agrees to proceed with the engagement of the Lawyer at Almeida & Souza Advocacia in Brasília, DF, under the terms set forth herein.
