This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by the undersigned Lawyer, Dr. Alejandro Restrepo M., acting in his capacity as a licensed attorney at law registered with the Bar Association of Bogotá (Colegio de Abogados de Bogotá), to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional legal fees, expenses, and associated costs for the engagement of legal representation services to be rendered in Colombia, Bogotá D.C. The Lawyer hereby proposes to provide the following legal services within the jurisdiction of Bogotá D.C., Colombia:
- Initial Legal Consultation & Case Assessment: Comprehensive review of the client's legal matter, including analysis of applicable Colombian statutes, jurisprudence from the Supreme Court of Justice of Colombia (Corte Suprema de Justicia), and the Constitutional Court (Corte Constitucional), to determine the viability and strategy of the legal action to be pursued in Bogotá.
- Drafting and Filing of Legal Petitions: Preparation, review, and formal submission of all necessary legal documents, motions, and petitions before the competent courts, administrative bodies, or notary offices located in Bogotá D.C., Colombia. This includes but is not limited to complaints, appeals, motions for injunction, and written submissions.
- Court Representation & Oral Arguments: Full representation of the client in all hearings, oral arguments, and judicial proceedings before the courts of the Judicial District of Bogotá, including the Municipal Courts (Juzgados Municipales), Circuit Courts (Juzgados del Circuito), and the High Court of Cundinamarca (Tribunal Superior de Cundinamarca), as applicable.
- Negotiation and Settlement Proceedings: The Lawyer shall conduct all negotiations, mediation sessions, and settlement discussions on behalf of the client in accordance with the Colombian Code of General Procedure (Código General del Proceso, Law 1564 of 2012) and the applicable mediation regulations in force in Colombia.
- Administrative and Notarial Procedures: Assistance with any required administrative filings, notarial certifications, and registry procedures before the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC), the National Land Registry (Registro Nacional de Instrumentos Públicos), or other relevant governmental entities in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Post-Judgment Enforcement: If a favorable judgment or administrative resolution is obtained, the Lawyer shall manage the enforcement proceedings, including the execution of judgments, seizure of assets, and collection of awarded amounts within the territory of Colombia.
- Ongoing Legal Advisory: Continuous legal counsel and advisory services to the client regarding the status of the case, potential risks, and strategic decisions throughout the duration of the engagement in Bogotá D.C.
The following Quotation Estimate outlines the professional fees and estimated expenses for the Lawyer's services in Colombia, Bogotá. All amounts are subject to the applicable Value Added Tax (VAT / IVA) of 19% as established by the Colombian National Tax Authority (DIAN), unless the service qualifies for an exemption under Colombian tax law.

- A non-refundable retainer fee equivalent to 30% of the total estimated amount shall be due upon execution of the formal retainer agreement and the granting of the power of attorney (poder especial) to the Lawyer.
- The remaining balance shall be payable in monthly installments of 10% each, due on the first business day of each month, until the matter is concluded or the engagement is terminated.
- All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Restrepo & Asociados Abogados, Banco de Bogotá, Account No. [XXXX-XXXX-XXXX], or by certified check payable to the Lawyer in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Any amounts not paid within fifteen (15) calendar days of the due date shall accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Colombian law (Tasa de Interés Moratoria established by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia).
- All government-imposed court fees, notary charges, and third-party expenses incurred in Colombia, Bogotá shall be billed separately and are not included in the professional fee amounts listed above.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the fees and costs presented herein.
- The acceptance of this Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal legal services agreement (contrato de prestación de servicios profesionales) and a power of attorney (poder especial) must be executed in writing, in accordance with Articles 1602 and following of the Colombian Civil Code, before the engagement commences.
- The Lawyer shall comply with all ethical obligations established by the Colombian Code of Professional Conduct for Lawyers (Código de Ética y Disciplina del Abogado) and the regulations of the Bar Association of Bogotá.
- Confidentiality: All information provided by the client to the Lawyer in connection with this engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party, in compliance with the attorney-client privilege recognized under Colombian law.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. Upon termination, the Lawyer shall be entitled to compensation for all services rendered up to the date of termination, as reflected in this Quotation Estimate.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the civil courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
- This Quotation Estimate is prepared exclusively for the client identified herein and may not be transferred, assigned, or relied upon by any third party without the prior written consent of the Lawyer.
