The aggregate estimated cost for all professional legal services and associated disbursements, as detailed in this Quotation Estimate, amounts to USD 5,500.00 (Five Thousand Five Hundred US Dollars), or its equivalent in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) at the prevailing Central Bank of Sudan exchange rate on the date of payment. This total is an estimate and may be subject to adjustment should the scope of legal work expand beyond what is described herein, in which case the Lawyer shall issue a revised Quotation Estimate for the client's written approval before proceeding.
- A non-refundable retainer fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total estimated amount, equivalent to USD 1,375.00, shall be paid upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to the commencement of any legal work by the Lawyer in Khartoum.
- The remaining balance shall be payable in two equal installments: fifty percent (50%) upon the filing of the primary legal petition, and the final fifty percent (50%) upon the conclusion of the matter or the delivery of the final legal opinion, whichever occurs first.
- All payments shall be made in US Dollars (USD) via bank transfer to the firm's designated account at a licensed bank in Khartoum, Sudan, or in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) at the official Central Bank of Sudan rate on the day of payment.
- Any outstanding balance not settled within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date shall accrue a late payment interest at the rate of two percent (2%) per month, in accordance with Sudanese commercial law.
- All court fees, stamp duties, and third-party disbursements shall be paid directly by the client or reimbursed to the Lawyer upon presentation of official receipts from the relevant Khartoum court or government office.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiration, the Lawyer reserves the right to revise the fees and terms to reflect any changes in the Sudanese legal fee schedule, exchange rates, or the complexity of the matter.
- The engagement of the Lawyer under this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Sudan, and any disputes arising from the interpretation or performance of this estimate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Khartoum, Sudan.
- The Lawyer shall maintain strict professional confidentiality in accordance with the Sudan Bar Association Code of Professional Conduct. All documents, correspondence, and information exchanged in connection with this engagement shall be treated as privileged and confidential.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of any particular legal outcome. The Lawyer shall exercise the highest degree of professional diligence and skill in representing the client's interests before the courts and tribunals of Khartoum and Sudan.
- Either party may terminate the engagement by providing thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall be liable for all fees and expenses incurred up to the date of termination, as itemized in a final account provided by the Lawyer.
- This Quotation Estimate is prepared exclusively for the named client and may not be transferred, assigned, or relied upon by any third party without the prior written consent of the Lawyer.
By signing below, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted all terms, conditions, and fee estimates set forth in this Quotation Estimate. The client further confirms that the scope of legal services described herein accurately reflects their requirements and that the estimated costs are acceptable. This Quotation Estimate shall become a binding agreement between the Lawyer and the client upon the execution of both signature blocks and the payment of the initial retainer fee.
