This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd. in response to the formal request for services submitted by Thamesport Shipping & Logistics Group Ltd. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemised, and transparent breakdown of all costs associated with the engagement of a qualified Marine Engineer to carry out scheduled maintenance, inspection, and operational support duties across the client's commercial vessel fleet berthed at Royal Victoria Dock in United Kingdom London. The Marine Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer's Certificate of Competency issued by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and shall possess a minimum of twelve (12) years of practical experience in the maintenance and operation of medium-speed diesel engines, auxiliary machinery, and associated systems aboard commercial vessels of 500 GT or greater. The scope of work, to be performed within the jurisdiction of United Kingdom London, encompasses the following activities:
- Preventive Maintenance Programme: Execution of a 12-month rolling preventive maintenance schedule covering main propulsion engines, auxiliary generators, fuel oil and lube oil systems, cooling water circuits, and exhaust gas treatment units across a fleet of six (6) vessels.
- Statutory and Class Surveys: Provision of the Marine Engineer as the responsible technical officer during annual, intermediate, and special surveys conducted by Lloyd's Register and the Port of London Authority, ensuring full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and MCA regulations.
- Emergency Call-Out and Breakdown Response: Availability of the Marine Engineer for 24/7 emergency response to mechanical or electrical failures, with a guaranteed on-site arrival time of no more than two (2) hours from the time of notification, anywhere within the London Docklands operational zone.
- Technical Reporting and Documentation: Preparation of monthly condition reports, maintenance logs, and compliance certificates in line with the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, submitted to the client's Fleet Operations Director.
- Regulatory Liaison: Acting as the primary technical point of contact for the Port of London Authority, the MCA, and the Environment Agency regarding all matters pertaining to vessel machinery, emissions, and environmental compliance within United Kingdom London waters.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, all rates and terms must be reconfirmed in writing by Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd.
4.2 Payment Terms: Invoices shall be issued on a monthly basis in arrears. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date by direct bank transfer to the account details provided. Late payments shall attract interest at a rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as applicable in the United Kingdom.
4.3 Cancellation and Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with a minimum of sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination by the client, a pro-rata charge for services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative fee on the remaining contract value, shall apply.
4.4 Insurance and Liability: The Marine Engineer shall be covered under Meridian Marine Engineering Solutions Ltd.'s professional indemnity insurance policy (limit: £5,000,000) and public liability insurance (limit: £10,000,000). The client shall maintain its own marine hull and machinery insurance for all vessels within the United Kingdom London operational area.
4.5 Health and Safety: All work shall be conducted in strict compliance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, and all applicable Port of London Authority safety regulations. The Marine Engineer shall hold a current Medical Certificate of Fitness (ENG1) and shall undergo a site-specific induction prior to commencing work at Royal Victoria Dock.
4.6 Intellectual Property: All technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation produced under this Quotation Estimate shall become the property of the client upon full payment of the associated invoice.
4.7 Governing Law: This agreement and all matters arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom London.
