1. Introduction and Purpose of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by BuildRight Tanzania Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for all Mason and masonry-related construction services to be executed at the client's residential property located in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. This document serves as a binding financial proposal outlining the scope of work, material costs, labour charges, and associated professional fees for the complete masonry phase of the two-storey residential building project. All pricing is quoted in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and reflects current market rates as of the date of issue in Dar es Salaam.

2. Scope of Mason Work

The Mason team assigned to this project in Tanzania Dar es Salaam shall carry out the following masonry works in full compliance with the Tanzania Building Regulations and the National Building Code:

Foundation wall construction using 150mm thick reinforced concrete block masonry (approximately 120 linear metres).
Ground floor external and internal wall construction using 200mm standard concrete blocks (approximately 850 square metres of wall area).
First floor external and internal wall construction using 200mm standard concrete blocks (approximately 780 square metres of wall area).
Construction of door and window openings with proper lintel installation (18 door openings, 24 window openings).
Staircase masonry construction including stringers, treads, and risers (14 steps per flight, two flights).
Chimney and ventilation shaft masonry work (2 units, 3.5 metres in height each).
Application of 12mm thick cement mortar plastering on all internal and external masonry surfaces (approximately 2,400 square metres).
Construction of boundary wall (60 linear metres, 1.8 metres in height) using 150mm concrete blocks with coping.
Installation of all necessary masonry reinforcement, weep holes, and damp-proof courses as per structural drawings.

4. Terms and Conditions

4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and material costs are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.

4.2 Payment shall be made in four (4) instalments: 30% upon signing of the contract, 30% upon completion of ground floor masonry, 30% upon completion of first floor masonry, and 10% upon final handover and client acceptance.

4.3 All Mason labour and skilled masonry work shall be carried out by BuildRight Tanzania Ltd.'s in-house team of certified masons, blocklayers, and plasterers based in Dar es Salaam. No sub-contracting of masonry work shall be undertaken without prior written consent from the client.

4.4 The client shall provide access to the site, ensure all necessary building permits and approvals from the Dar es Salaam City Council are in place, and arrange for water and electricity supply to the construction site.

4.5 All masonry materials (concrete blocks, cement, sand, aggregate, reinforcement steel, and lintels) shall be sourced from approved suppliers within Dar es Salaam and shall meet the standards set by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS).

4.6 A warranty period of twelve (12) months shall apply to all masonry work from the date of final completion. Any defects in masonry workmanship arising within this period shall be rectified at no additional cost to the client.

4.7 Any variation or change order to the scope of Mason work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties before execution. Additional costs will be itemised in a supplementary Quotation Estimate.

4.8 This Quotation Estimate does not include architectural design fees, structural engineering consultancy, electrical and plumbing installations, roofing, or finishing works (painting, tiling, flooring) unless separately specified.

5. Acceptance and Authorisation

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Mason services in Tanzania Dar es Salaam and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This document, once countersigned, shall form part of the main construction contract.
