- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be adjusted to reflect changes in parts availability, exchange rates, or labour costs in the New Zealand Wellington market.
- Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion of all mechanic services outlined in this Quotation Estimate. We accept EFT, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), and cash. A 10% deposit is required to schedule the work bay at our Wellington workshop.
- Warranty: All mechanic labour is covered by a 12-month / 20,000-kilometre warranty. All replacement parts carry the manufacturer's standard warranty, which is no less than 12 months. This warranty is valid throughout New Zealand and is honoured at our New Zealand Wellington premises.
- Work Schedule: The estimated completion time for all services listed in this Quotation Estimate is five (5) working days from the date the vehicle is delivered to our workshop in Te Aro, Wellington. Delays due to parts back-orders will be communicated promptly.
- Waste Disposal: All used oil, filters, brake fluid, and coolant will be disposed of in accordance with New Zealand environmental regulations and the Wellington City Council waste management guidelines.
- Insurance: Wellington Auto Mechanic Services Ltd. holds full public liability insurance (minimum $20 million) and is a registered member of the New Zealand Motor Vehicle Industry Association. The vehicle is covered under our workshop insurance policy while in our care.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the mechanic services provided will be resolved in accordance with the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 of New Zealand. Mediation through the Disputes Tribunal (Wellington) will be the first step before any legal action.
