This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Nile Delta Mechanical Engineering Consultants to Al-Nile Industrial Development Co., Ltd. for the provision of comprehensive Mechanical Engineer services related to the design, review, and commissioning of a new HVAC and process piping system for the client's manufacturing facility located in the 10th of Ramadan Industrial Zone, Egypt Cairo. This document serves as a binding financial and technical proposal and shall remain valid for the period stated above unless otherwise extended in writing by both parties.
The Mechanical Engineer team assigned to this project in Egypt Cairo shall deliver the following services in full compliance with Egyptian Building Code (EBC 301), ASME standards, and local municipal regulations applicable to Egypt Cairo:
- Site Survey and Assessment: A dedicated Mechanical Engineer shall conduct a full on-site survey of the existing plant infrastructure in Egypt Cairo, documenting current piping layouts, equipment conditions, load calculations, and utility connections. This phase includes thermal imaging and airflow mapping across all production floors.
- Conceptual and Detailed Design: The lead Mechanical Engineer shall produce complete AutoCAD and Revit MEP drawings for the new HVAC system, including ductwork sizing, chiller selection, pump specifications, and process piping isometrics. All designs shall be tailored to the climatic conditions of Egypt Cairo, accounting for peak summer temperatures exceeding 42°C.
- Equipment Procurement Support: The Mechanical Engineer shall prepare detailed technical data sheets, issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to approved vendors, and evaluate supplier proposals to ensure cost-effective procurement of chillers, air handling units, centrifugal pumps, and associated instrumentation.
- Construction Supervision and QA/QC: A resident Mechanical Engineer shall be stationed at the Egypt Cairo project site throughout the installation phase to supervise contractor work, verify weld quality, perform pressure testing of piping circuits, and ensure adherence to the approved design documents.
- Commissioning and Handover: The Mechanical Engineer shall oversee the start-up sequence, perform performance testing against design parameters, prepare as-built documentation, and deliver a comprehensive operations and maintenance manual to the client's facility management team in Egypt Cairo.
- Regulatory Compliance and Permitting: The Mechanical Engineer shall coordinate with the Cairo Governorate Engineering Department and the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency to secure all necessary permits, environmental impact assessments, and final occupancy approvals specific to Egypt Cairo jurisdictions.

4.1 – A mobilization advance of 20% of the total Quotation Estimate value shall be payable within 10 business days of contract signature and issuance of a valid bank guarantee from a licensed Egyptian bank.
4.2 – Monthly progress payments of up to 70% of the value of work certified by the client's project manager shall be invoiced at the end of each calendar month. Invoices must reference this Quotation Estimate number (QTE-2025-CAIRO-0472).
4.3 – The remaining 10% shall be released upon successful commissioning, final acceptance by the client, and delivery of all as-built documentation and the O&M manual at the Egypt Cairo facility.
4.4 – All payments shall be made in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the account of Nile Delta Mechanical Engineering Consultants, National Bank of Egypt, Cairo Main Branch, IBAN: EG38000200015678901234567890.
5.1 – This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Any request for extension beyond this period must be submitted in writing and is subject to re-evaluation of material and labor costs in Egypt Cairo.
5.2 – The Mechanical Engineer services described herein are exclusive to the scope outlined in Section 2. Any additional or revised scope shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate and a formal change order signed by both parties.
5.3 – The client shall provide safe access to the Egypt Cairo project site, all existing as-built drawings, utility connection data, and any third-party approvals required before the Mechanical Engineer team commences work.
5.4 – All intellectual property, design documents, and engineering calculations produced under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. The Mechanical Engineer firm retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio with prior written consent.
5.5 – Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Egyptian Arbitration Center, with the seat of arbitration in Egypt Cairo.
5.6 – This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by authorized representatives of both parties.
