This Quotation Estimate is issued by Salazar & Asociados Ingeniería Mecnica, S.A. de C.V., a licensed Mechanical Engineer consultancy operating in Mexico, Mexico City, in direct response to the client's Request for Information. The scope of work encompasses the full spectrum of Mechanical Engineer professional services required for the design, analysis, and commissioning of the industrial HVAC and process piping systems at the client's manufacturing facility located in the Lomas Altas district of Mexico City, Mexico.
The Mechanical Engineer team assigned to this project will deliver the following deliverables in strict compliance with the Mexican Official Standards (NOM-001-SEDE, NOM-020-ENER, and applicable CFE regulations) as well as ASME, ASHRAE, and ISO 9001:2015 quality management requirements. All engineering calculations, system designs, and technical documentation produced under this Quotation Estimate will be executed by a registered Mechanical Engineer holding a valid license issued by the Colegio de Ingenieros Mecnicos de Mxico, A.C., and will be stamped and signed in accordance with Mexican federal and local (CDMX) regulatory requirements.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) installments: 40% upon contract execution and commencement of the Mechanical Engineer design phase; 40% upon delivery and client approval of all engineering drawings and calculations; and 20% upon successful completion of commissioning and handover in Mexico City. All payments shall be made in Mexican Pesos (MXN) via bank transfer to the account designated by Salazar & Asociados Ingeniería Mecnica, S.A. de C.V. A 1.5% monthly interest rate will apply to any overdue balance.
The Mechanical Engineer team estimates a total project duration of fourteen (14) calendar weeks from the date of contract signing. The site survey and as-built review will be completed within the first two weeks. Detailed design and engineering calculations will span weeks three through nine. Drafting, regulatory submissions, and permitting will occupy weeks ten through twelve. Commissioning, start-up, and final documentation will be completed in weeks thirteen and fourteen. All milestones are subject to timely client feedback and availability of the Mexico City facility for on-site work.
Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be adjusted to reflect changes in material costs, labor rates, or applicable tax regulations in Mexico.
Exclusions: This estimate does not include the procurement of mechanical equipment, third-party testing by accredited laboratories, or any civil/structural work beyond the mechanical support scope. Travel and lodging for the Mechanical Engineer team beyond the standard Mexico City metropolitan area will be billed at cost with a 10% administrative surcharge.
Intellectual Property: All engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports produced under this Quotation Estimate shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Mechanical Engineer firm retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio with prior written consent.
Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Mexico City, Mexico. Disputes shall first be subject to mediation before the Cámara de Comercio de la Ciudad de México.
Insurance: The Mechanical Engineer firm maintains professional liability insurance (Seguro de Responsabilidad Profesional) with a coverage limit of MXN 10,000,000, valid throughout the project duration in Mexico City.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Mechanical Engineer services in Mexico, Mexico City, and agrees to the terms, conditions, pricing, and scope of work described herein. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance and authorizes Salazar & Asociados Ingeniería Mecnica, S.A. de C.V. to commence the Mechanical Engineer engagement as outlined.
