As a registered Mechanical Engineer firm operating under the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) registration, we propose the following services for the client's manufacturing facility upgrade project located in the Harare Industrial Development Zone:

• Full mechanical design and engineering of a new 2,500 m² production line including HVAC systems, compressed air networks, and material handling conveyors.
• Structural and thermal analysis of existing boiler plant equipment to ensure compliance with Zimbabwe National Standards (ZS) and relevant ECZ regulations.
• Development of detailed engineering drawings, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and technical specifications for tender purposes.
• On-site supervision and quality assurance during the installation phase at the Zimbabwe Harare facility.
• Commissioning, performance testing, and handover documentation for all mechanical systems.
• Provision of a 12-month post-commissioning maintenance advisory package.

• 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
• 40% milestone payment upon completion of detailed design and submission of engineering drawings for client approval.
• 20% payment upon successful commissioning and handover of all mechanical systems.
• 10% final retention payment released 90 days after handover, subject to satisfactory performance.
• All payments to be made via bank transfer to the account details provided in the service agreement. Late payments shall attract interest at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) base rate plus 2% per annum.

The total estimated project duration from commencement to final handover is approximately 25 weeks, excluding the 12-month maintenance advisory period. A detailed Gantt chart and weekly progress reporting schedule will be provided within five (5) business days of contract execution. The Mechanical Engineer team will conduct weekly progress meetings at the Zimbabwe Harare site to ensure alignment with the client's operational schedule.

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements in Zimbabwe.
• All engineering work shall be performed in accordance with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) Code of Practice, Zimbabwe National Standards, and applicable international standards (ISO, ASME, ASHRAE) as relevant.
• The Mechanical Engineer services are subject to the availability of qualified personnel. In the event of force majeure, both parties shall negotiate in good faith to adjust timelines accordingly.
• Intellectual property rights in all design documents, drawings, and specifications produced under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment.
• Liability under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total contract value. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
• Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe, in accordance with the Arbitration Act [Chapter 7:15] of the Laws of Zimbabwe.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
