This Quotation Estimate is issued by Global Engineering Solutions Ltd. to provide a comprehensive cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Mechatronics Engineer to support the automated production line upgrade project at the client's facility located in China Beijing. The scope of work encompasses the full lifecycle of the Mechatronics Engineer's assignment, including pre-deployment planning, on-site technical execution, system integration, commissioning, and post-commissioning support. All rates and charges presented in this Quotation Estimate are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate of 6% in China Beijing, unless otherwise stated.
The Mechatronics Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables at the project site in China Beijing:
- System Design & Architecture: Develop integrated mechatronic system designs combining mechanical, electrical, and software components for the client's new robotic assembly line. The Mechatronics Engineer will produce detailed P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, and mechanical CAD models compliant with GB/T national standards applicable in China Beijing.
- PLC & HMI Programming: Design, program, and debug Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) logic and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) panels using Siemens TIA Portal and Mitsubishi GX Works environments. All programming shall adhere to IEC 61131-3 standards and local regulatory requirements in China Beijing.
- Industrial Robotics Integration: Configure and integrate FANUC and ABB industrial robots into the production workflow. The Mechatronics Engineer will handle end-effector selection, kinematic calibration, safety zone programming, and interlock logic design.
- Sensor & Actuator Deployment: Select, install, and calibrate proximity sensors, encoders, servo drives, pneumatic actuators, and vision systems. All component procurement shall be sourced through approved vendors registered in China Beijing to ensure compliance with local import regulations.
- Commissioning & FAT/SAT: Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) in coordination with the client's quality assurance team. The Mechatronics Engineer will prepare comprehensive test protocols, log all results, and issue a final commissioning report.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver complete as-built documentation, operation manuals, maintenance guides, and conduct a minimum of 40 hours of on-site training for the client's in-house technical staff in China Beijing.
- Post-Commissioning Support: Provide a 90-day warranty support window during which the Mechatronics Engineer shall be available for remote troubleshooting and up to five (5) on-site visits to the China Beijing facility at no additional cost.

4.1 — 30% advance payment (CNY 381,218.40) due within 10 business days of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
4.2 — 40% milestone payment (CNY 508,291.20) due upon successful completion of on-site integration and prior to commissioning.
4.3 — 20% payment (CNY 254,145.60) due upon successful SAT sign-off and delivery of as-built documentation.
4.4 — 10% retention (CNY 127,072.80) released 30 days after the conclusion of the 90-day post-commissioning support period.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated in the accompanying Purchase Order. Late payments shall attract interest at 1.5% per month as per standard commercial practice in China Beijing.
5.1 — This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in China Beijing.
5.2 — The Mechatronics Engineer shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards of the People's Republic of China, including but not limited to the Work Safety Law of China and local Beijing municipal industrial safety ordinances.
5.3 — The client shall provide a safe and compliant work environment, necessary access to the production floor, and all third-party vendor coordination at the China Beijing project site.
5.4 — Any change in scope beyond the defined deliverables shall be subject to a formal Change Order and a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by Global Engineering Solutions Ltd.
5.5 — Intellectual property developed specifically for the client under this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. Pre-existing IP of the Mechatronics Engineer or the service provider remains the property of the respective owner.
5.6 — Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Beijing, China, in accordance with the rules of the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC).
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, scope, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the Mechatronics Engineer services to be delivered in China Beijing.
