1. Scope of Work — Mechatronics Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by SwissMech Engineering Solutions AG to provide a comprehensive and detailed cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Mechatronics Engineer to deliver specialized technical services within the Switzerland Zurich metropolitan area. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of mechatronic system design, integration, testing, and commissioning for the client's automated production line upgrade project.
The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project will hold a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in mechatronic system architecture, PLC/SCADA programming, industrial robotics integration, and embedded control systems. All work will be performed in compliance with Swiss Federal regulations, SIA standards, and the specific technical requirements of the Switzerland Zurich industrial zone where the client's facility is located.

3. Terms & Conditions of This Quotation Estimate
3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability of the Mechatronics Engineer may be subject to revision based on market conditions in the Switzerland Zurich engineering sector.
3.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in four (4) equal instalments: 25% upon contract signing, 25% upon completion of the design phase, 25% upon successful commissioning, and 25% upon final acceptance and delivery of all documentation. All payments are due within thirty (30) days of invoice date via bank transfer to the account of SwissMech Engineering Solutions AG, UBS AG, Zurich, Switzerland (IBAN: CH93 0023 0456 7890 12345).
3.3 Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate will require a written change order signed by both parties. Additional hours of the Mechatronics Engineer beyond the agreed duration will be billed at CHF 185.00 per hour.
3.4 Intellectual Property: All designs, code, and documentation produced by the Mechatronics Engineer under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. SwissMech Engineering Solutions AG retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio with prior written consent.
3.5 Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all technical data, proprietary processes, and business information exchanged during the project. This obligation survives the termination of the contract for a period of five (5) years.
3.6 Governing Law & Jurisdiction: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Swiss Confederation. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland Zurich.
3.7 Insurance & Liability: SwissMech Engineering Solutions AG maintains professional liability insurance with a coverage of CHF 5,000,000. The Mechatronics Engineer is covered under the company's occupational accident insurance (SUVA) as required by Swiss law.
3.8 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-mandated shutdowns affecting the Switzerland Zurich region.
4. Acceptance
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein for the engagement of the Mechatronics Engineer services in Switzerland Zurich.
