This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Advanced Mechatronics Solutions LLC to provide a comprehensive cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Mechatronics Engineer to deliver integrated design, development, testing, and commissioning services for the client's automated production line upgrade project located in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi. This document serves as a binding financial proposal subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein and the mutual acceptance by both parties.
The Mechatronics Engineer assigned to this project will deliver the following professional services in accordance with international engineering standards and the regulatory requirements of the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Department of Economic Development:
- System Design & Architecture: Full conceptual and detailed design of mechatronic subsystems including mechanical structures, embedded control systems, sensor networks, and actuator assemblies for the client's packaging and assembly line.
- PLC & SCADA Programming: Development and implementation of programmable logic controller logic, human-machine interface design, and supervisory control and data acquisition systems compliant with IEC 61131-3 standards.
- Electrical & Piping Design: Preparation of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and pneumatic/hydraulic circuit designs in compliance with UAE electrical codes and Abu Dhabi utility regulations.
- Robotics Integration: Selection, programming, and integration of industrial robotic arms for pick-and-place operations, welding, and quality inspection stations.
- Commissioning & Testing: On-site commissioning, functional testing, performance validation, and FAT/SAT (Factory Acceptance Testing / Site Acceptance Testing) at the client's facility in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi.
- Documentation & Handover: Delivery of complete as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, training materials, and warranty documentation in both English and Arabic.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Minimum 40 hours of on-site operator and maintenance training for the client's technical staff in Abu Dhabi.

* All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED). VAT at 5% is applied in accordance with the Federal Tax Authority regulations of the United Arab Emirates. No additional customs or import duties are included unless specified.
Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows:
- 30% Advance Payment: AED 604,469.40 upon signing of the service agreement and issuance of the Purchase Order.
- 40% Milestone Payment: AED 805,959.20 upon successful completion of FAT and delivery of design documentation.
- 25% Completion Payment: AED 503,724.50 upon successful SAT and full commissioning in Abu Dhabi.
- 5% Retention: AED 100,744.90 released 90 days after final handover, subject to warranty period satisfaction.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Advanced Mechatronics Solutions LLC, Emirates NBD, United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi, within 14 calendar days of invoice issuance. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month as per UAE commercial law.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations, exchange rate changes, or resource availability.
5.2 The Mechatronics Engineer and all supporting personnel shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards of the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi, including but not limited to the Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health (ADOSH) regulations and the UAE Civil Defence requirements.
5.3 The client shall provide the Mechatronics Engineer with safe access to the project site, necessary utilities, and all prerequisite information required to execute the scope of work. Delays caused by the client shall result in a day-for-day extension of the project timeline at no additional cost to the contractor.
5.4 All intellectual property, designs, and documentation produced under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full and final payment.
5.5 A standard 12-month warranty period shall apply to all design and programming deliverables from the date of SAT sign-off. The Mechatronics Engineer shall respond to any warranty claims within 48 hours.
5.6 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until both parties have executed the formal Service Agreement. Governing law shall be the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Abu Dhabi under the rules of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre.
5.7 Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or pandemics, shall relieve both parties from performance obligations for the duration of such event.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the Mechatronics Engineer services to be performed in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi.
