1. Introduction and Purpose of This Quotation EstimateThis Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Apex Mechatronics Solutions Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Mechatronics Engineer to deliver integrated systems design, commissioning, and maintenance support at the client's manufacturing facility located in United Kingdom Manchester. This document serves as a formal proposal outlining the scope of professional services, associated costs, timelines, and contractual terms governing the engagement. 2. Scope of Services – Mechatronics Engineer EngagementThe Mechatronics Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services at the client's premises in United Kingdom Manchester:
2.1 Design and development of integrated electromechanical systems combining mechanical, electrical, and software components for the client's automated production line.
2.2 Programming, configuration, and commissioning of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and industrial robotic cells.
2.3 Conducting a full systems audit of existing mechatronic infrastructure to identify inefficiencies, failure points, and opportunities for optimisation.
2.4 Development of detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic documentation, and as-built drawings.
2.5 Provision of on-site technical support and troubleshooting for a period of twelve (12) months following initial commissioning.
2.6 Training of up to eight (8) client personnel in the operation, basic maintenance, and safety protocols of the newly installed mechatronic systems.

The anticipated project duration, as outlined in this Quotation Estimate, is approximately fourteen (14) weeks from the date of contract execution. The Mechatronics Engineer will be based at the client's facility in United Kingdom Manchester for the duration of the on-site phases. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided within five (5) working days of contract signature. The post-commissioning support phase will commence immediately upon successful handover and will extend for twelve (12) months.
5. Terms and Conditions5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and conditions are subject to review and re-confirmation in writing.
5.2 Payment terms: 30% deposit upon contract execution, 40% upon completion of commissioning, and 30% upon final acceptance and handover. The monthly support fee (Ref 05) shall be invoiced in arrears on the 1st of each month.
5.3 All work performed by the Mechatronics Engineer shall comply with current United Kingdom health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and relevant British Standards (BS EN 60204-1 for electrical safety of machinery).
5.4 The client shall provide the Mechatronics Engineer with safe access to all relevant areas of the facility in United Kingdom Manchester, along with all necessary documentation, system access credentials, and cooperation from internal staff.
5.5 Intellectual property: All designs, code, and documentation created specifically for the client under this engagement shall become the property of the client upon full payment. General methodologies and pre-existing tools remain the property of Apex Mechatronics Solutions Ltd.
5.6 Limitation of liability: The total liability of Apex Mechatronics Solutions Ltd. under this Quotation Estimate shall not exceed the total contract value of £93,864.00 (inclusive of VAT).
5.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manchester, United Kingdom.
6. AcceptanceBy signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Apex Mechatronics Solutions Ltd. to proceed with the engagement of the Mechatronics Engineer as described herein. This signature constitutes a binding agreement between both parties subject to the terms and conditions set out in Section 5.
