1. Scope of Services – Medical Researcher Engagement

The proposed Medical Researcher will be a fully qualified professional holding a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent postgraduate degree in Clinical Research, Epidemiology, or Biostatistics, with a minimum of eight (8) years of documented experience in multi-centre clinical trials. The Medical Researcher will be based at the client's premises in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur and will report directly to the Principal Investigator. The scope of work encompasses the following deliverables:

Design and development of clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) compliant with the Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and the Malaysian National Research Register (MyKIR) requirements.
Supervision and coordination of data collection, entry, and verification across all study sites within the Malaysia Kuala Lumpur metropolitan area and surrounding states.
Conduct of regular site monitoring visits, source data verification, and quality assurance audits to ensure full compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards as mandated by the Malaysian GCP Guidelines 2023.
Preparation of statistical analysis plans, interim reports, and final research manuscripts suitable for publication in peer-reviewed international journals.
Management of regulatory submissions to the National Medical Research Register (NMRR) and the Malaysian National Research Ethics Committee (NMREC) on behalf of the client.
Participation in at least two (2) international medical conferences per annum to present findings and maintain professional networking relevant to the Medical Researcher role.

3. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 30% (MYR 198,479.70) of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due within fourteen (14) calendar days of the client's written acceptance of this document.
The remaining 70% shall be invoiced in equal monthly instalments of MYR 39,695.93, payable within thirty (30) days of each monthly invoice date.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to: MediResearch Solutions Sdn. Bhd., Maybank, Account No. 5123-4567-8901, Swift Code: MAYBMYKL, Malaysia Kuala Lumpur.
Late payments shall attract a penalty interest of 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted under Malaysian law, whichever is lower.

4. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision without prior notice.
The Medical Researcher shall be bound by a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and shall comply with all data protection obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.
All intellectual property, research data, and publications arising from the engagement shall be the sole property of the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Medical Researcher shall maintain all necessary professional registrations, including membership with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and the Malaysian Society for Clinical Research (MSCR).
Either party may terminate this engagement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination plus a 10% administrative fee on the unfulfilled portion of the Quotation Estimate.
This engagement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in accordance with the Arbitration Act 2005.
MediResearch Solutions Sdn. Bhd. shall carry professional indemnity insurance of not less than MYR 2,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.

5. Acceptance

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Medical Researcher in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between both parties.
