This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Meridian Health Research Solutions Ltd to provide a comprehensive and itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Medical Researcher to support ongoing clinical research programmes based in New Zealand Auckland. The scope of work outlined herein covers the full period of the Medical Researcher's assignment, including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and deliverable management, all conducted in accordance with the Health Research Ethics Committee (HREC) guidelines and the New Zealand Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights.

The Medical Researcher will be embedded within the client's research team at the Auckland University of Technology campus and will report directly to the Chief Investigator. All activities will be performed within the New Zealand Auckland metropolitan area, with occasional travel to satellite research sites in North Shore, Manukau, and Tāmaki Makaurau as required by the study protocol.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in quarterly instalments, with the first payment due within 30 days of the commencement date. Subsequent payments will be invoiced on the 1st of January, April, July, and October. All payments are to be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account nominated by Meridian Health Research Solutions Ltd. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing for the Medical Researcher engagement may be subject to revision due to market fluctuations in New Zealand Auckland's research workforce.
All rates quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the Medical Researcher's base salary, superannuation contributions (as per the KiwiSaver Act 2006), and statutory employer obligations.
The Medical Researcher will be engaged under a fixed-term contract aligned to the 12-month project duration. Early termination may be subject to a notice period of 8 weeks as stipulated in the New Zealand Employment Relations Act 2000.
Meridian Health Research Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by HREC approval processes, force majeure events, or changes to the research protocol initiated by the client.
All intellectual property generated by the Medical Researcher during the course of this engagement shall be owned by the client, subject to the terms of the underlying research grant agreement.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the formal Service Agreement. Acceptance of this document does not obligate either party to proceed.
Any variations to the scope of work for the Medical Researcher must be agreed in writing and will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and, where applicable, the jurisdiction of the District Court in Auckland.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for the Medical Researcher engagement in New Zealand Auckland and agrees to the terms and conditions set out above. This acceptance does not constitute a final contract until the formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
