This Quotation Estimate is issued to formally present the scope, deliverables, and associated costs for the engagement of a certified Meteorologist to provide comprehensive atmospheric and weather advisory services to Al-Bahri Maritime & Logistics Group. The services will be delivered on-site and remotely within the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, covering the Red Sea coastal zone, the Jeddah Islamic Port operations area, and the surrounding industrial corridors. This document serves as a binding financial proposal subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
The appointed Meteorologist shall provide the following professional services tailored to the operational needs of maritime logistics in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:
- Daily synoptic weather analysis and forecasting for the Jeddah coastal region, including wind speed, direction, humidity, sea state, and visibility assessments.
- Real-time severe weather monitoring and early warning issuance for dust storms, squall lines, and tropical disturbances affecting the Red Sea approaches to Jeddah.
- Seasonal climate outlooks and long-range atmospheric trend reports aligned with the Saudi Meteorological Authority (NCA) data frameworks.
- Pre-voyage and pre-operation weather briefings for port authorities, shipping lines, and offshore construction teams operating from Jeddah.
- Post-event meteorological analysis and incident reporting following any significant weather event impacting operations in the Jeddah area.
- Monthly and quarterly climate impact reports addressing the effects of the Jeddah microclimate on cargo handling, storage, and logistics scheduling.

4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period requires re-confirmation of pricing by the service provider.
4.2 Payment terms: 30% advance upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of the first quarter of services, and 30% upon successful delivery of the final quarterly report. All payments shall be made in Saudi Riyal (SAR) via bank transfer to the designated account in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
4.3 The Meteorologist engaged under this quotation shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences, possess at least eight (8) years of professional experience in operational meteorology, and be registered with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties or the relevant Saudi professional body.
4.4 All meteorological data, forecasts, and reports produced under this engagement shall be the intellectual property of the client. The Meteorologist shall comply with all data protection regulations issued by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
4.5 The service provider reserves the right to substitute the assigned Meteorologist with a qualified equivalent upon 72 hours' written notice, provided the replacement meets or exceeds the stated qualifications.
4.6 Force majeure events, including but not limited to extreme weather events rendering the Jeddah operational area inaccessible, shall be addressed through mutual consultation and shall not constitute a breach of contract.
4.7 This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Jeddah in accordance with the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) rules.
Note: This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for additional ad-hoc meteorological consulting beyond the defined scope, travel expenses to locations outside the Jeddah metropolitan area, or the procurement of specialized weather radar equipment.
