This Quotation Estimate is issued by Nairobi Maternal Care & Midwifery Services Ltd. to provide a comprehensive, itemized breakdown of professional Midwife services to be delivered within the Kenya Nairobi metropolitan area. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of care, associated costs, payment structure, and contractual terms governing the engagement of a registered and licensed Midwife for the full continuum of maternal and newborn care. All pricing reflected in this Quotation Estimate is based on current market rates in Kenya Nairobi for 2025 and is subject to the validity period stated above.
The Midwife engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following services in accordance with the standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Kenya (NMCK) and the Kenya Ministry of Health guidelines:
- Antenatal Care (ANC): A minimum of eight (8) scheduled antenatal visits throughout the pregnancy, including clinical assessments, ultrasound coordination, nutritional counselling, and preparation for safe delivery in Kenya Nairobi.
- Intrapartum (Labour and Delivery) Care: Continuous one-on-one Midwife attendance during labour and delivery, including pain management support, monitoring of fetal and maternal vital signs, and assistance with the safe birth of the newborn.
- Postnatal Care: A minimum of four (4) postnatal visits within the first six weeks after delivery, covering maternal recovery assessment, newborn examination, breastfeeding support, and immunisation scheduling.
- Emergency and On-Call Support: 24/7 availability of the assigned Midwife for any obstetric emergency arising in the Kenya Nairobi area, with a guaranteed response time of no more than thirty (30) minutes.
- Home-Based Midwife Visits: Up to six (6) home visits at the client's residence in Muthaiga, Nairobi, for routine check-ups, wound care, and general maternal guidance.

This Quotation Estimate stipulates the following payment structure for the Midwife services in Kenya Nairobi:
- Deposit (40%): KES 77,024 payable upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to the commencement of antenatal care.
- Mid-Pregnancy Payment (30%): KES 57,768 payable at the 24-week antenatal visit milestone.
- Final Balance (30%): KES 57,768 payable within seven (7) calendar days following the completion of all postnatal Midwife visits.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Nairobi Maternal Care & Midwifery Services Ltd. at Equity Bank, Nairobi Branch, Account No. 0123456789. Cheques and cash payments are not accepted under this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all Midwife service rates may be revised to reflect current Kenya Nairobi market conditions.
- The assigned Midwife is a fully registered professional with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Kenya (NMCK) and holds a minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in maternal and newborn care.
- All Midwife services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be performed in strict compliance with the Kenya Ministry of Health clinical guidelines and the NMCK Code of Professional Conduct.
- Should any complication arise that necessitates referral to a hospital or specialist in Kenya Nairobi, the Midwife will coordinate the transfer at no additional cost to the client; however, hospital admission fees and specialist charges are excluded from this Quotation Estimate.
- The client agrees to provide accurate medical history and to attend all scheduled Midwife appointments. Missed appointments must be rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and stamped by both parties. Upon acceptance, a formal Service Agreement will be executed.
- Any additional Midwife services beyond the scope outlined herein will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued prior to delivery of such services.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
