This Quotation Estimate is issued by East African Petroleum Consulting Ltd. in response to the formal request for professional services from Nile Basin Energy Projects Ltd. The scope of this Quotation Estimate covers the engagement of a qualified Petroleum Engineer to deliver comprehensive technical advisory, reservoir evaluation, and production optimization services for the client's upstream exploration and development operations located in the Uganda Kampala metropolitan area and surrounding petroleum concession blocks in the Albertine Graben region.

As a licensed and registered engineering consultancy operating within Uganda Kampala, we bring over fifteen years of combined experience in petroleum engineering, reservoir characterization, well completion design, and production forecasting. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in full compliance with the Uganda Petroleum Act (Cap. 151), the Uganda National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) guidelines, and the standards set forth by the Uganda Petroleum Corporation (UPC).

The Petroleum Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables over a twelve-month contract period:

The Petroleum Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university, with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive post-qualification experience in upstream petroleum operations. The engineer shall be a registered member of the Uganda Engineering and Technical Registration Board (UETRB) and shall possess valid professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of UGX 500,000,000. Prior experience in the Albertine Graben basin or comparable West African onshore petroleum fields located in the Uganda Kampala region shall be considered a significant advantage.

  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all pricing and availability terms are subject to revision.
  • Payment shall be made in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) via bank transfer to the account of East African Petroleum Consulting Ltd., Stanbic Bank, Uganda Kampala Branch, Account No. 010-452-889-001.
  • A mobilization payment of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract value is due upon execution of the service agreement. The remaining balance shall be invoiced monthly in arrears, with payment due within fourteen (14) days of invoice receipt.
  • All deliverables produced by the Petroleum Engineer under this engagement shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of the client upon full payment.
  • This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for third-party laboratory analyses, seismic data acquisition, or specialized software licenses, which shall be billed separately at actual cost plus a ten percent (10%) handling fee.
  • Any change in scope beyond the services described herein shall require a written change order signed by both parties before additional work commences.
  • The Petroleum Engineer shall comply with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations applicable in Uganda Kampala and the broader Uganda petroleum sector.
  • Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Uganda.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes East African Petroleum Consulting Ltd. to proceed with the engagement of the Petroleum Engineer as described herein. This signature constitutes a binding acceptance of all terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this document.
