Thank you for your request for a professional Pharmacist engagement for your facility in Uganda Kampala. MediPharm Professional Services Ltd. is pleased to present this Quotation Estimate for the recruitment, placement, and ongoing professional support of a qualified Pharmacist to serve at Kampala Central Health Facility. This Quotation Estimate has been prepared in full compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Uganda regulations and the Uganda National Drug Authority (UNDA) guidelines governing the practice of pharmacy in Uganda Kampala and its surrounding regions.

Scope of Services – Pharmacist Engagement

This Quotation Estimate covers the full professional engagement of a registered Pharmacist holding a valid Practicing Certificate from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Uganda. The Pharmacist will be deployed to the Uganda Kampala facility on a full-time basis and will perform the following duties:

Dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications in strict adherence to the Uganda National Formulary and UNDA regulations.
Management of the facility's pharmaceutical inventory, including procurement, storage, stock rotation, and expiry monitoring of all medicines and medical supplies.
Provision of patient counselling on medication usage, dosage schedules, potential drug interactions, and side-effect management.
Preparation and maintenance of accurate pharmaceutical records, prescription logs, and controlled substance registers as required by Ugandan law.
Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals at the Uganda Kampala facility to ensure optimal patient care and medication safety.
Participation in the facility's quality assurance programmes, including internal audits, infection control protocols, and adverse drug reaction reporting to UNDA.
Supervision of pharmacy technicians and junior staff, ensuring compliance with the Code of Ethics for Pharmacists in Uganda.
Contribution to the facility's drug and therapeutics committee meetings and policy development.

Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all costs are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Uganda Kampala.
All fees quoted are in Uganda Shillings (UGX) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate of 18% as administered by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
Payment terms: 50% of the total Quotation Estimate amount shall be due upon signing of the service agreement, and the remaining 50% shall be disbursed in equal monthly instalments over the twelve-month engagement period.
The Pharmacist shall be bound by the Uganda Pharmacy and Poisons Board Code of Professional Conduct and shall maintain confidentiality of all patient records in accordance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda.
MediPharm Professional Services Ltd. reserves the right to replace the assigned Pharmacist with an equally qualified professional in the event of prolonged illness, resignation, or disciplinary action, with no additional cost to the client.
This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of pharmaceutical stock, equipment, or infrastructure. The client facility in Uganda Kampala shall provide a suitable, licensed pharmacy workspace with adequate storage facilities.
Any changes to the scope of services outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to implementation.
Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein for the engagement of a Pharmacist at the specified facility in Uganda Kampala.
