This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request received from the Institute of Advanced Science & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the professional engagement of a qualified Physicist to deliver a comprehensive suite of research, analytical, and advisory services. The scope of work outlined below has been carefully tailored to meet the specific scientific and operational requirements of the client institution located in Bangladesh Dhaka. All rates, deliverables, and timelines presented in this Quotation Estimate reflect current market standards for specialized Physicist services operating within the Dhaka metropolitan area and the broader Bangladesh context.
The engaged Physicist will provide the following services over a twelve-month contract period:
- Quantum Mechanics & Particle Physics Research: Design and execution of experimental protocols in the field of quantum optics and subatomic particle interaction studies, utilizing the laboratory facilities available at the client's Dhaka campus.
- Applied Physics Consultation: Monthly advisory sessions (minimum four hours per month) addressing applied physics challenges relevant to the client's ongoing projects in renewable energy modeling, semiconductor material analysis, and electromagnetic field simulation.
- Academic Supervision & Mentorship: Supervision of up to six (6) postgraduate research students (MSc/PhD) in the Department of Physics, providing weekly guidance, thesis review, and publication support.
- Instrumentation & Laboratory Setup: Assessment, procurement recommendation, and installation oversight for advanced physics laboratory equipment, including spectrometers, oscilloscopes, and cryogenic systems, to be deployed at the Bangladesh Dhaka facility.
- Publication & Conference Representation: Preparation and submission of a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed research articles to internationally recognized physics journals, and representation of the institute at one (1) international physics conference (travel within Bangladesh Dhaka region included; international travel billed separately).
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Facilitation of joint research initiatives with the Department of Engineering and the Department of Chemistry at the client institution, fostering cross-disciplinary innovation in Bangladesh Dhaka's academic ecosystem.
- Public Outreach & Science Communication: Delivery of two (2) public science lectures per semester at local schools and community centers in Dhaka, promoting physics education and scientific literacy among the general public of Bangladesh.

* All amounts are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Exchange rate reference: 1 USD ≈ 118 BDT (as of June 2025). International travel expenses for conferences outside Bangladesh Dhaka will be billed at actual cost with prior written approval from the client.
4.1 A mobilization advance of 25% of the Grand Total (BDT 1,083,300) shall be payable within seven (7) working days of the client's written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
4.2 The remaining 75% shall be disbursed in equal quarterly installments (BDT 820,000 per quarter), payable within fifteen (15) working days following the submission and acceptance of the quarterly progress report by the client's review committee.
4.3 All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Dhaka Research Associates Ltd., Bank Asia, Banani Branch, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Account details are provided on the reverse of this Quotation Estimate.
4.4 Late payments exceeding thirty (30) days from the due date shall attract a penalty interest of 1.5% per month, in accordance with standard commercial practice in Bangladesh.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates and availability of the Physicist may be subject to revision.
5.2 The Physicist shall devote a minimum of 40 hours per week to the services described herein, with a standard working schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the client's premises in Bangladesh Dhaka, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.3 The client shall provide all necessary laboratory access, research materials, and administrative support required for the Physicist to perform the agreed-upon duties. Any specialized equipment not listed in Item 03 shall be procured by the client at their own cost.
5.4 Intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Physicist and the client institution, with publication rights shared equally. All data collected in Bangladesh Dhaka under this contract shall remain the property of the client.
5.5 Either party may terminate this agreement with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% cancellation fee on the unfulfilled portion of the contract.
5.6 This Quotation Estimate and the resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising shall be resolved through arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Bangladesh.
5.7 The Physicist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of BDT 5,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Physicist in Bangladesh Dhaka. This document, once countersigned by both parties, shall constitute a binding service agreement.
