This Quotation Estimate is issued by Andina Scientific Consulting S.A.S. to formally present the professional fees, deliverables, and associated costs for the engagement of a senior Physicist to provide specialized consulting, research supervision, and technical advisory services within the city of Colombia Bogotá. This document constitutes a binding financial proposal and shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance, after which all pricing and availability terms may be subject to revision.
Scope of Services – Physicist EngagementThe Physicist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services in Colombia Bogotá, specifically at the client's designated laboratory facilities and research centers:
- Advanced theoretical and experimental physics consulting for the Department of Nuclear and Particle Physics.
- Supervision and mentorship of a team of twelve (12) graduate research assistants conducting experiments in quantum optics and condensed matter physics.
- Design and validation of experimental protocols for the new accelerator-based research facility located in the northern district of Bogotá.
- Preparation and peer review of three (3) research papers for submission to internationally indexed journals (Q1/Q2 ranking).
- Delivery of two (2) specialized seminars on advanced physics topics to the university faculty and visiting researchers in Colombia Bogotá.
- Technical advisory for the procurement and calibration of high-precision measurement equipment (estimated value: COP 2.4 billion).
- Monthly progress reporting and quarterly strategic planning sessions with the university's research directorate.

1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, the client must request a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting any changes in market rates, availability of the Physicist, or regulatory adjustments in Colombia Bogotá.
2. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in six (6) equal monthly installments of COP 79,728,333 (approximately USD $20,184.39), due on the first business day of each month. The first installment is due upon execution of the service agreement. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
3. Physicist Availability: The designated Physicist shall be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Colombia time (COT, UTC-5). Additional hours beyond the contracted scope shall be billed at 1.5x the hourly rate specified in this Quotation Estimate.
4. Intellectual Property: All research outputs, publications, and experimental data generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by the client institution and the consulting firm, as stipulated in the separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed concurrently with the service contract.
5. Confidentiality: The Physicist and all supporting personnel shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Data Protection) and the university's internal research security policies applicable in Colombia Bogotá.
6. Cancellation: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination by the client, a cancellation fee equivalent to 15% of the remaining contract value shall apply. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a final contract until both parties execute the definitive service agreement.
7. Taxes: All amounts stated in this Quotation Estimate are exclusive of applicable Colombian Value Added Tax (IVA, 19%) and any withholding taxes as mandated by the Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN) of Colombia.
8. Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the commercial and civil laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Bogotá D.C. in accordance with the rules of the Centro de Arbitraje y Conciliación de la Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá.
Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Physicist services in Colombia Bogotá and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This acceptance does not constitute a final contract but serves as a formal expression of intent to proceed with the engagement of the specified Physicist under the stated financial parameters.
