This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by Congo Scientific Consulting & Research Partners (CSCRP) in response to the request for proposal received from the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemized financial breakdown for the recruitment, deployment, and ongoing professional engagement of a qualified Physicist to conduct advanced research in nuclear and particle physics, as well as to provide academic supervision to graduate students at the University of Kinshasa, located in DR Congo Kinshasa.
The Physicist proposed for this engagement holds a Doctorate in Theoretical and Applied Physics from a recognized international institution, with a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-doctoral research experience in nuclear energy systems, radiation physics, and computational modeling. The candidate has published over forty (40) peer-reviewed articles in international journals and has previously served as a principal investigator on three (3) multi-year research grants funded by international scientific bodies.
The Physicist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and responsibilities within the academic and research facilities in DR Congo Kinshasa:
- Conduct original research in nuclear fission and fusion energy applications relevant to the energy development strategy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- Supervise a minimum of six (6) Master's and Doctoral students in the Department of Physics at the University of Kinshasa.
- Develop and deliver a new graduate-level course on Advanced Quantum Mechanics and Nuclear Physics, to be integrated into the curriculum for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Establish and calibrate a small-scale radiation detection laboratory within the existing physics building on the Lemba campus.
- Collaborate with the National Nuclear Energy Agency (ANEN) of DR Congo Kinshasa on safety protocols and environmental monitoring of uranium deposits in the southern provinces.
- Present findings at a minimum of two (2) international scientific conferences per year and publish results in at least one (1) indexed journal annually.
- Provide monthly progress reports to the Ministry and the University Rectorate.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in quarterly installments via international wire transfer to the CSCRP bank account in Kinshasa. The schedule is as follows:
- Advance Payment (30%): $97,485.00 – due within fifteen (15) business days of contract signature.
- Quarterly Installments (70%): $227,465.00 divided equally into seven (7) quarterly payments of $32,495.00 each, due on the first business day of each quarter.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all prices are subject to revision due to currency fluctuation between the US Dollar and the Congolese Franc (CDF).
- The Physicist shall be subject to the labor laws and regulations of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including the obligation to obtain a valid work permit before commencing duties in DR Congo Kinshasa.
- All intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the University of Kinshasa and the Ministry, with the Physicist retaining authorship credit on all publications.
- CSCRP shall not be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to political instability, natural disasters, or government-imposed travel restrictions within DR Congo Kinshasa.
- The contract may be terminated by either party with a written notice of sixty (60) days. In the event of early termination, all costs incurred up to the termination date shall be settled in full.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Kinshasa, DR Congo, in accordance with the rules of the Congolese Chamber of Commerce.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations set forth herein for the engagement of the Physicist in DR Congo Kinshasa.
