The Physicist engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services within the Kampala metropolitan area and its immediate environs in Uganda Kampala:

• Research Consultation: The Physicist shall conduct a minimum of twelve (12) on-site consultation sessions per month at the UNRC laboratory facilities located in Kampala, providing expert guidance on experimental design, data modelling, and theoretical framework development in the fields of condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, and applied electromagnetism.
• Instrumentation Calibration: The Physicist shall oversee the calibration and performance verification of all high-precision measurement instruments housed within the Kampala research facility, ensuring compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 protocols.
• Academic Supervision: The Physicist shall supervise a cohort of no more than six (6) postgraduate research students enrolled at Makerere University, Kampala, providing weekly mentorship, thesis review, and laboratory safety instruction.
• Technical Reporting: The Physicist shall produce a comprehensive monthly technical report summarizing findings, experimental outcomes, and recommendations, to be delivered to the UNRC Director of Research within five (5) business days of month-end.
• Conference & Workshop Facilitation: The Physicist shall design and deliver at least two (2) professional development workshops per quarter for UNRC staff in Kampala, covering advanced topics in quantum mechanics, statistical physics, and computational modelling.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in accordance with the following schedule, subject to satisfactory delivery of the Physicist's obligations in Uganda Kampala:

• Final Payment (30%): UGX 77,398,560 – payable within twenty-one (21) business days of the Physicist's final report submission and formal project closure in Kampala.

All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the designated account of Kampala Scientific Advisory Group, Bank of Uganda, Kampala Main Branch. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under the Uganda Contracts Act, 2010.

1. This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding proposal until formally accepted in writing by the Uganda National Research Council and countersigned by both parties.
2. The Physicist named in this document (Dr. Samuel Okello) holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Cape Town and is a registered member of the Uganda Engineering and Technical Institute (UETI), Kampala. In the event of unavoidable absence, a suitably qualified substitute Physicist of equivalent standing shall be provided with prior written approval from the client.
3. All work performed under this Quotation Estimate shall be carried out in strict compliance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, including the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, and all applicable research ethics guidelines issued by the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST), Kampala.
4. Intellectual property generated during the course of the Physicist's engagement in Uganda Kampala shall be jointly owned by KSA Group and the UNRC, as further detailed in a separate Intellectual Property Addendum to be executed concurrently with the main contract.
5. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of specific research outcomes. The Physicist's role is to provide expert guidance, technical oversight, and methodological rigour in accordance with internationally recognized scientific standards.
6. Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In such an event, the Physicist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, and the remaining balance of this Quotation Estimate shall be forfeited.
7. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Uganda Arbitration Act, 2000, before escalation to the High Court of Uganda, Kampala.
