This Quotation Estimate is issued in accordance with Italian commercial regulations (Codice Civile, Articles 1321–1341) and pertains to the professional engagement of Professor Marco Aurelio Bianchi to deliver a comprehensive suite of academic, research, and consultancy services within the city of Italy Rome and its metropolitan area. The services are intended to support the Client's ongoing technological development programme and to provide expert academic oversight for a period of twelve (12) months commencing 1 October 2025.
The Professor will operate primarily from the Client's premises located in central Rome (Rione Monti district) and will also conduct on-site visits to the Client's secondary laboratory facility in the EUR district of Rome. All deliverables shall be produced in both English and Italian to comply with the bilingual requirements of the Client's international reporting obligations.

All payments shall be made in Euro (EUR) via bank transfer to the Professor's designated account at Banca d'Italia, Rome branch. Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date, in compliance with Italian Law No. 192/2014 on late payment in commercial transactions. A late-payment interest rate of 8% per annum above the European Central Bank reference rate shall apply to overdue amounts.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After expiry, all rates and terms are subject to revision.
- The Professor shall maintain full professional liability insurance (RC Professionale) with a minimum coverage of € 1,000,000 per claim, valid throughout the engagement period in Italy.
- All intellectual property produced specifically for the Client under this engagement shall be jointly owned, as stipulated in a separate Intellectual Property Agreement to be executed prior to commencement of services in Rome.
- The Client agrees to provide all necessary access to facilities, data, and personnel within the Rome premises to enable the Professor to perform the contracted services without undue delay.
- Either party may terminate this engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative fee.
- All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and the subsequent contract shall be resolved by the competent courts of Rome, Italy, in accordance with the Italian Civil Code and applicable EU regulations.
- The Professor reserves the right to publish anonymized research findings in peer-reviewed academic journals, provided that a 30-day prior written notice is given to the Client.
- This document constitutes a non-binding Quotation Estimate until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance shall be evidenced by a signed Service Agreement (Contratto di Prestazione d'Opera Intellettuale) executed in duplicate in Rome.
