This Quotation Estimate is formally submitted by Professor Dr. James Mwangi Kariuki (hereinafter referred to as "the Professor") to the University of Nairobi, Office of the Vice-Chancellor, for the provision of specialized academic consulting, curriculum development, and research supervision services to be delivered within Kenya Nairobi. The Professor holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi and possesses over twenty-two years of experience in higher education, policy research, and institutional capacity building across East Africa.
The scope of this engagement encompasses the design and delivery of a comprehensive academic programme aimed at strengthening postgraduate research supervision, modernizing undergraduate curricula in the Faculty of Economics and Business, and providing strategic advisory services on institutional accreditation standards as required by the Commission for University Education (CUE) in Kenya. All services will be physically conducted at designated venues within Kenya Nairobi, with supplementary remote sessions where mutually agreed upon.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Professor reserves the right to revise rates due to market adjustments in Kenya Nairobi.
- Payment terms: Fifty percent (50%) advance payment upon acceptance of this quotation; the remaining fifty percent (50%) shall be settled within fourteen (14) days of completion of all deliverables.
- All services will be rendered by the Professor personally, except where a qualified deputy is mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.
- The Professor shall provide a comprehensive written report and all digital deliverables within ten (10) business days of the final on-site session in Kenya Nairobi.
- Intellectual property: All curriculum materials, reports, and training content developed under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Professor and the University of Nairobi, with both parties retaining the right to use the materials for academic and institutional purposes.
- Confidentiality: The Professor undertakes to treat all institutional data, student records, and internal documents encountered during the engagement in strict confidence, in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government-imposed restrictions, natural disasters, or public health emergencies affecting Kenya Nairobi.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act of Kenya, with the seat of arbitration in Nairobi.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
By signing below, the authorized representative of the University of Nairobi acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and indicates acceptance of the terms, scope, and financial estimates outlined herein for the Professor's services to be delivered in Kenya Nairobi.
