This Quotation Estimate outlines the comprehensive professional services to be rendered by a qualified Social Worker engaged to operate within the Nepal Kathmandu region. The Social Worker shall provide community-based intervention, case management, psychosocial support, and advocacy services in alignment with the National Social Work Act of Nepal and the guidelines issued by the Department of Social Development, Kathmandu. The scope includes but is not limited to the following deliverables:
- Conducting community assessments and needs analyses across the 32 wards of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
- Providing one-on-one and group-based psychosocial counseling to vulnerable populations including children, elderly, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in coordination with local government offices, NGOs, and health facilities in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Facilitating community awareness programs on child protection, gender-based violence prevention, and social inclusion.
- Maintaining case files, progress reports, and monthly activity summaries in both Nepali and English.
- Coordinating with the Kathmandu Valley Social Welfare Council and relevant district-level authorities.
- Participating in inter-agency meetings, policy briefings, and emergency response activities as required.

All rates are quoted in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). This Quotation Estimate does not include any additional costs arising from scope changes or force majeure events. Exchange rate reference: 1 USD ≈ NPR 133 (as of June 2025).
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect current market conditions in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Payment shall be made in monthly installments within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the monthly service report submitted by the Social Worker. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month.
- The Social Worker shall adhere to the Code of Ethics for Social Workers as prescribed by the Nepal Social Work Association and the Department of Social Development.
- Confidentiality of all client records and case information is strictly maintained in accordance with the Privacy Act of Nepal, 2074 (2017).
- Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata settlement of all services rendered shall be processed.
- The Social Worker shall not be engaged in any other professional capacity that creates a conflict of interest with the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate.
- All disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution, the matter shall be referred to the competent court in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- This Quotation Estimate constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, whether written or oral.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, scope, and financial obligations outlined in this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Social Worker in Nepal Kathmandu.
