The Software Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following core activities within the Nigeria Lagos operational environment:

2.1 Software Development & Architecture

Design, development, testing, and deployment of custom software applications tailored to the client's business requirements. The Software Engineer will utilize modern development frameworks and ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and peer review processes. All development work will be conducted in alignment with international best practices while adapting to the specific technological infrastructure available in Nigeria Lagos.

2.2 System Integration & API Development

The Software Engineer will design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs to facilitate seamless integration between the client's existing systems and third-party platforms. This includes payment gateway integrations relevant to the Nigerian market (such as Paystack, Flutterwave, and Interswitch), as well as integration with local regulatory reporting systems.

2.3 Technical Support & Maintenance

Ongoing technical support, bug resolution, performance optimization, and system monitoring. The Software Engineer will provide a minimum of 12 hours per week of dedicated support within the Nigeria Lagos business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM WAT), with emergency response available for critical production issues.

2.4 Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

Comprehensive technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, deployment guides, and user manuals. The Software Engineer will conduct bi-weekly knowledge transfer sessions to ensure the client's internal team is fully equipped to manage and extend the developed systems.

The following Quotation Estimate details all costs associated with the Software Engineer engagement. All amounts are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at 7.5% as mandated by the Nigeria Revenue Service.

Note: This Quotation Estimate assumes a standard 6-month engagement period. Should the client require an extension beyond this period, a revised Quotation Estimate will be issued at the prevailing Software Engineer market rates in Nigeria Lagos at the time of renewal. All rates are subject to adjustment in the event of significant Naira depreciation exceeding 15% during the contract term.

Advance Payment: 30% of the total Quotation Estimate amount (₦5,859,825) is due upon signing of the service agreement and before the Software Engineer commences work.
Milestone Payments: 40% of the total amount (₦7,813,100) is payable in two equal installments at the end of Month 2 and Month 4 of the engagement.
Final Payment: The remaining 30% (₦5,859,825) is due upon successful completion of all deliverables and final acceptance by the client.
Payment Method: All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the designated account of TechBridge Solutions Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria. International payments may be made in USD at the prevailing CBN exchange rate on the date of transfer.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to renegotiation.
The Software Engineer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client data, proprietary information, and business processes encountered during the engagement in Nigeria Lagos.
Intellectual property rights for all custom software developed under this Quotation Estimate shall transfer to the client upon full and final payment.
The Software Engineer is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the client. All statutory obligations including pension contributions and tax withholding shall be managed by TechBridge Solutions Ltd in compliance with Nigerian labour and tax laws.
Either party may terminate this engagement with 30 days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all work completed up to the termination date as reflected in this Quotation Estimate.
Force majeure events, including but not limited to power outages affecting the Nigeria Lagos grid, internet infrastructure failures, or government-mandated shutdowns, shall not be considered a breach of contract.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Software Engineer services in Nigeria Lagos. The engagement shall commence within five (5) business days of the receipt of the advance payment.
