This Quotation Estimate is issued by Apex Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd to provide a comprehensive and transparent financial proposal for the engagement of a senior Systems Engineer to deliver end-to-end infrastructure design, implementation, and ongoing support services. This engagement is specifically tailored for operations based in Australia Melbourne, where the Systems Engineer will be physically present at the client's premises or operate remotely with regular on-site visits to Melbourne-based facilities. The Quotation Estimate encompasses all labour costs, travel allowances within the Melbourne metropolitan area, software licensing contributions, and project management overheads associated with the Systems Engineer role.
The Systems Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following core deliverables and ongoing operational duties:
2.1 Infrastructure Architecture & Design
The Systems Engineer will conduct a full audit of the existing IT infrastructure, design scalable network topologies, and produce detailed architecture documentation. This includes server virtualisation planning, storage area network (SAN) configuration, and cloud-hybrid integration strategies aligned with Australian data sovereignty requirements under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2.2 Implementation & Deployment
Hands-on installation, configuration, and commissioning of hardware and software systems. The Systems Engineer will manage server rack installations, network switch deployments, firewall rule sets, and operating system provisioning across all Melbourne-based data centres and office locations.
2.3 Ongoing Support & Maintenance
Proactive monitoring, patch management, performance tuning, and incident response. The Systems Engineer will provide business-hours support (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM AEST) with an optional after-hours on-call arrangement for critical severity incidents.
2.4 Compliance & Security

Payment Terms: The Systems Engineer retainer (Item 1) is invoiced monthly in arrears. One-off items (Items 2, 3, and 4) are invoiced upon completion of the respective milestone. All invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date in accordance with standard commercial practice in Australia Melbourne.
This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide secure access to all relevant facilities, existing documentation, and administrative credentials prior to the Systems Engineer commencing work. Travel beyond the Greater Melbourne metropolitan area (e.g., Geelong, Ballarat, or interstate) will be quoted separately. Hardware warranty extensions beyond the standard 12-month manufacturer period are excluded from this estimate. Any scope changes exceeding 10% of the original project value will trigger a formal variation to this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all pricing is subject to revision based on prevailing market rates in Australia Melbourne.
- The Systems Engineer shall be bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and a Confidentiality clause protecting all client intellectual property and operational data.
- Apex Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than AUD $10,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than AUD $20,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- The client may terminate this engagement with 30 days' written notice. In such an event, the Systems Engineer will complete all in-progress tasks and hand over documentation before the termination date.
- All work performed by the Systems Engineer shall comply with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and all applicable Victorian employment and workplace health and safety legislation.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the Commercial Tenancy and Disputes Resolution procedures of the State of Victoria, Australia Melbourne jurisdiction.
- Intellectual property created specifically for the client during the engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment. Pre-existing tools, methodologies, and frameworks of the Systems Engineer remain the property of Apex Infrastructure Solutions Pty Ltd.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Systems Engineer as described herein. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement between the parties for the services, pricing, and terms outlined in this document.
