Apex Linguistic Solutions Ltd. is pleased to submit this Quotation Estimate for the provision of professional Translator Interpreter services to be deployed and executed within Uganda Kampala and its immediate environs. This Quotation Estimate covers a comprehensive range of translation and interpretation deliverables tailored to the operational and strategic needs of the Nile Basin Development Authority for the period of twelve (12) months commencing 1 September 2025.

The Translator Interpreter services outlined in this Quotation Estimate encompass simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation, written translation, sworn/legal translation, and on-site language support for all official meetings, board sessions, stakeholder consultations, and public engagement forums held in Uganda Kampala. All Translator Interpreter personnel assigned under this engagement will hold certified qualifications in at least two of the following language pairs: English–Luganda, English–Swahili, English–Arabic, and English–French, ensuring full multilingual coverage for the diverse linguistic landscape of Uganda Kampala.

All Translator Interpreter professionals engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be vetted, certified, and deployed from our primary office in Uganda Kampala. Each Translator Interpreter must possess a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the relevant language pair, a recognised diploma or degree in Translation and Interpretation from a Ugandan or internationally accredited institution, and a valid professional registration with the Uganda Institute of Translators and Interpreters (UITI). For legal and sworn translation tasks, the Translator Interpreter must additionally hold a commission from the Uganda Judiciary. Deployment within Uganda Kampala will be coordinated through our central scheduling desk to ensure punctuality, availability, and seamless coverage across all client-designated venues including the Uganda Parliament Building, the Kampala City Council offices, and private conference centres in the Kololo and Nakasero districts.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period will require re-confirmation of rates and availability of the Translator Interpreter team.
Payment terms: Fifty percent (50%) advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; the remaining fifty percent (50%) shall be invoiced monthly in arrears based on actual Translator Interpreter services rendered in Uganda Kampala.
All rates quoted in this Quotation Estimate are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are inclusive of Translator Interpreter professional fees, intra-Kampala transportation, and standard equipment. Inter-district travel beyond Kampala city limits will be billed at an additional rate of UGX 15,000 per kilometre.
The Translator Interpreter services are subject to a minimum engagement of four (4) hours per session. Sessions shorter than four hours will be billed at the four-hour minimum rate.
Confidentiality: All Translator Interpreter personnel will execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing work. All source documents, recordings, and translated outputs remain the exclusive property of the client.
Quality Assurance: A dedicated QA officer in Uganda Kampala will review all written translation deliverables. Interpretation sessions will be subject to post-event feedback and, where applicable, audio review for continuous improvement.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to civil unrest, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions in Uganda Kampala.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Uganda Arbitration Act, 2000, with the seat of arbitration in Kampala.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties and accompanied by a signed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, rates, and conditions set forth herein for the provision of Translator Interpreter services in Uganda Kampala.
