Scope of Work & Description
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Atlantic Welding & Fabrication (Pty) Ltd in response to the formal request for professional welding and structural fabrication services required for the Harbourview Construction Group steel frame project located in South Africa Cape Town. The scope encompasses the deployment of a certified senior Welder and a supporting team of two junior welders to execute all structural steel welding, pipe fitting, and metal fabrication tasks as specified in the client's engineering drawings (Ref: HCG-ENG-2025-112).
The primary Welder assigned to this project holds a Level 4 Welding qualification (SANS 1387 compliant), a valid South African Council for People Practising in the Engineering Professions (SACEP) registration, and over twelve years of experience in structural steelwork within the Cape Town metropolitan area. All welding procedures will comply with SANS 1387, AWS D1.1, and the relevant South African National Standards applicable to structural steel construction in the Western Cape region.
All work will be performed on-site at the client's designated location in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The Welder team will operate Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 17:00, with the option of Saturday shifts subject to prior written agreement. All personal protective equipment (PPE), welding machines, consumables, and ancillary tools will be supplied by Atlantic Welding & Fabrication (Pty) Ltd at no additional cost to the client.

Terms and Conditions
1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability of the Welder team are subject to reconfirmation.
2. Payment terms: 40% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 30% upon completion of Week 3, and the remaining 30% upon final sign-off and handover of the completed welding works in South Africa Cape Town.
3. All payments are due within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice date. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as per the National Credit Act (South Africa).
4. The client is responsible for providing safe access to the work area, adequate ventilation, and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) 85 of 1993. Atlantic Welding & Fabrication (Pty) Ltd will ensure the Welder and all team members hold valid medical fitness certificates and site-specific inductions.
5. Any variation in scope, additional welding hours, or change in project location within the Cape Town metropolitan area will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued in writing prior to commencement of the additional work.
6. All welding work is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance, covering defects in workmanship and materials under normal operating conditions.
7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. The governing law is that of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in the High Court of South Africa, Cape Town Division.
