Recently I came across a pirated copy of Sonic 3 in Curitiba, Brazil. It ended up being broken, so I opened it up and found out that if I removed the glob top holding the broken EPROM I could get a pretty decent Sega Genesis cartridge repro board. It is tested to be working with the 42-pin M27XXX EPROMs. It may need a 47uf capacitor and a 1k resistor to work properly with some EPROMs. It is a 2-layer board and quite easy to work on.
