Odalice Priosti provided an invaluable service to the projects of Brazilian community museology. He created and coordinated the first community Ecomuseum in Brazil. Located in Santa Cruz, Rio de Janeiro.

To honor Odalice Prisoti, ABREMC's board was present:
1) Walter Priosti, husband and partner of Odalice coordinating the Brazilian Association of Ecomuseums and Community Museums
2) Yarra Mattos - Coordinator of the Ouro Preto Ecomuseum.
3) Terezinha Resende - Coordinator of the Amazon Ecomuseum.
4) Nádia Almeida - Coordinator of the Maranguape Ecomuseum.
5) Bianca Wild - Coordinator of the Sepetiba Ecomuseum.
6) Maria Siqueira - Coordinator of the Campos de São José Ecomuseum.
