Magic Bookmark in Chrome with OffiDocs
Ad
DESCRIPTION
A Chrome extension that helps users quickly open previously clicked bookmarks.
Magic Bookmark makes large bookmark lists actually usable. It saves an offline snapshot of each bookmark (title, favicon, visit date and order), clamps titles to two lines so they stay readable, and groups items by Today and Yesterday to help you quickly reopen what you just saw, even without a network.
Why it helps
Large bookmark folders are hard to scan. Magic Bookmark keeps a local snapshot, shows sharper icons with sensible fallbacks, and removes horizontal scrolling. The Today and Yesterday sections make recent pages easy to recall at work.
What you get
Offline snapshots stored locally (title, favicon, visit date and order).
Accurate titles for SaaS sub-pages after redirects.
Readable 2-line titles without horizontal scrolling.
Sharper favicons and a local placeholder icon when blocked.
Date grouping: Today and Yesterday for quick recall.
Clear Cache in Settings to reset everything.
Privacy
No accounts, no tracking, no server. All data stays in your browser via chrome.storage.local. You can clear it anytime in Settings.
Permissions used
bookmarks, history, storage: read bookmarks and store local snapshots.
tabs: open a selected bookmark in a new tab and focus an existing tab to avoid duplicates.
webNavigation: update the final URL and title after redirects for accurate records.
Notes
Works worldwide. When a site icon is blocked, a local placeholder icon is shown first and replaced if a favicon becomes available. The UI supports multiple languages.
