Attributed to Benes

Catholic People Have Been
Ruled by Grand Orient: And Communists, Former Slovak Leader Says

The Slovaks Joined Czechoslovakia
after the first world war under the agreement of Pittsburgh, May - 30, 1918,
promising autonomy to the Slovaks. This agreement was never fulfilled. The
Czechs were masters of Slovakia. The Slovaks are a thoroughly Catholic
people. Their masters were atheists, freethinkers.

Slovakia has been
granted "autonomy"--at last the Pittsburgh Agreement has been
fulfilled--on paper. The rulers of Slovakia are Communists, although the
Communists had never any political significance and were never represented in a
Cabinet. De-Christianization is in full swing. Catholic schools are being
closed. I have no doubt whatever that the present Communist tyranny is only the
last step before Slovakia is incorporated into U.S.S.R, like the Ukraine;
of course, according to the wishes \u201cof a majority" and with the help of
the Czech Quislings. In fact, the -Catholic Herald" reported a Short time
ago that the incorporation is already in the making.

During the war Czech
propaganda told the American and British Catholics that "Catholicism has
been the life-giving force in Czechoslovakia." Nothing could be further
from the truth. The Catholics, although
73% of the population, were always on the defensive. The driving forces were
Masons-- Benes is member of the Grand Orient- Hussites, freethinkers.

At present there are nine
Communists in Benes Cabinet and they hold the key positions. Upton Close
wrote in his Closer-Ups" (August 13): "Stalin Is reported to be
highly satisfied with the religious strategy worked out for him by Edward Benes
of Czechoslovakia. Benes. It is believed, persuaded Stalin to return the Orthodox
Church to official status and a degree of support and favor in Russia." Benes
is known as road-master for Stalin's
entry into Europe. He was the first to recognize the Soviet puppets of
Lublin. Czech puppets nod as Stalin pulls the wires for the Charley McCarthys.
De-Christianization is going on. While Benes pays lip-service to the West,
the Communist minister of the Interior, Nejedly, was quite outspoken: "The
Western world is in decline. ... It is time for us to cease saying that we are
neither for the West nor for the East. There can be no doubt as to where
Czechoslovakia belongs." \

Versailles Was Deceived

If there was any doubt
why it came to "Munich," the present happenings in Czechoslovakia may
explain that Munich was less of Hitler than of Benes making. Czechoslovakia was
a product of artificial insemination, born out of racism, chauvinism and
hatred against Austria as well as against the Catholic church. Self
Determination was reserved to the Czech master-race, denied to Slovaks,
Hungarians, Ukrainians and Sudeten-Germans. Benes, the shrewd politician,
deceived the peacemakers at Versailles, as the late Lloyd George publicly declared.'

Slovaks asked again
and again for autonomy. It was denied.; Hungarians and Sudeten-Germans at one
time up to 80% were willing to cooperate with the Czechs. But the so-called
policy or "activism'' was a one-way-road. It is an historical fact that
the majority of the Sudeten never wanted "Anschluss, all they asked for
was a treatment as "equals among equals" in their
homeland. Munich made them citizens of Hitler's Reich, just as Benes,
the collaborator and appeaser, Incorporated the Ukrainians into Stalin's domain.

At present there Is a
reign of terror and brutality going on in Benes Masonic, pan-Slavic empire. By
"decrees" Hungarians and Germans are robbed of their farms and
property. By "decree" four million are expelled from their homeland, cultivated
by, their ancestors for almost thousand years. There is no crime committed-by Nazi-gangsters that Benes
gang would not repeat, from rape of women to concentration camps. Execution
of traitors (who after all followed only Benes ' example, who prides himself :
in the destruction of the political. - economic and! cultural unity that was
Austria-Hungary, thus preparing Hitler's way) is public spectacle. Benes
created even a new academic profession by appointing university students as
hangmen.

There can be no doubt
that anti- Semitism is in full swing, even if Rabbi Wise accepts "unreservedly''
the denial of a Czech official and "reaffirms his faith in the great democratic
tradition, of which Dr. Benes has been so distinguished and consistent an
exponent" (New, York Times, Oct. 10). Many Jews could not qualify for the
renewed racial laws of Nuremberg-Prague. Benes is preparing a Lidice for
four million peoples and for the same "reasons\u201d as his masters,
Stalin-Hitler.

Crime Is Unatoned

Unfortunately, there
is a conspiracy of silence covering the criminal events "behind the iron curtain, not to offend the ''darling of the
Leftists." But a crime is a crime, whether Nazis or Communists or
Benesists are the criminals. There may be no trial for the "victors"
until the Day of Judgment. Potsdam put its seal under Inhuman practices. And
the victims are members of Christ's Mystical Body.

This is not and cannot
be an "internal affair." Czechoslovakia was conceived by the Western
Powers. Western Powers broke it up after twenty years of misrule. Benes, who
at present persecutes \u201cheroically\u201d women and children, refused to fight for his
homeland. The "liberation" is the work of the Allies and their
responsibility. And we all have to pay the consequences If Europe's heartland
remains a danger-spot in the future as it was In the past. Perhaps it is still
time to redress crimes already committed in denial of all the solemn declarations
and principles from Woodrow Wilson up to San Francisco.
