The Alden Club of Franklin, Massachusetts was a women's literary club founded in 1893 by author, lecturer and scholar, May Alden Ward, who moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Franklin, Massachusetts around that time. The club developed from a series of lectures Ward presented at Franklin's Congregational Church in 1892 and also became a charitable organization, fundraising to help the community.
